Day Five
(Nineteen Years Ago)

MFM, warden of the St. Suzune’s minimum security prison was out on a smoke break when he saw a simple looking black notebook titled “Death’s Note” placed in the roots of a rather large oak tree that stood beside the dainty looking prison facility. It was a foggy afternoon and MFM thought reading would be a good way to get him through his dreadfully uneventful work day. Picking up the book and glancing through the set of rules laid out before him, MFM decided that, although it was probably a joke created by some punk brat, he would take Death’s Note for a spin. Making an effort to glance up at the dreary clouds, MFM could tell it was bound to be a rainy day.

Returning to his duty in the prison, MFM fixed the facilities thermostat to a suitable temperature for the chilly weather outside and went over to his personal locker. He dressed in his state provided uniform of a thick black wool coat littered with bulbous white buttons. He placed his fashionable peaked cap atop his wavy black hair, and looking in the convenient locker mirror, neatly polished the badge fixed to its centre. Out the window rain began to fall, MFM rubbed his drowsy eyes and picked up an umbrella before making his way for the door.

Making his rounds through the campus setup of the prison, MFM saw a Mercedes G-Class Wagon arrive at the entrance, likely unloading new prisoners. A white couple came out of the van together, two baby boys placed firmly in the father’s arms. These people appeared to be the affluent type, those who would use their influence and power to finagle themselves into the best possible position in prison, why they would commit any crime is beyond all reason to begin with. From the distance, MFM could make out the nametags pinned to both the adults’ chests, the man was named Werecatleopard and the woman went by the name Jiyoan. Miyako, an officer of the facility that was attending to the couple pried the larger, more robust looking toddler out of Werecat’s hands and placed him back into the truck. Clenching the small and feeble looking baby tightly, Jiyoan began to scream.

“Do not take our little Kira from us, please! We’ll do anything to keep him with us, even here!” but the officer would not budge, now trying harder than ever to pull the young child, Kira, out of his father’s arms.

Looking on in contempt for the foolish parents, MFM pulled out the notebook he had found from before and began to write down the father’s name, expecting no results. Werecat, who knew he could not maintain his grip over Kira, reached for the handgun slung around officer Miyako's hip. Casting the child aside, the officer exerted all of his force into the father and threw him down into the mud surface made slushy from the downpour. Werecat, however, had managed to snag the gun in time and now had its barrel pointed straight to the officer’s groin, warning for him to back away. Kira began to cry out from the puddle he had fallen into, and the other baby watched the encounter from the seat of the van, void of any outward emotion. Werecat, distracted, turned to face his crying child. Taking advantage of the disorder, Miyako pulled a knife from the backside of his belt and swung down, sheathing it in the nape of Werecat’s neck. Before dropping back into the mud, Werecat instinctively pressed the trigger of the gun between his fingers, blasting a hole in the left side of officer Miyako's trousers and planting him on his knees. MFM darted over to the struggle in awe, scooping up Kira and keeping him out of the conflict. Backup arrived from the prison and another guard restrained Jiyoan, slamming her face down into the dirt and pressing his rifle down into her backside. MFM placed Kira in the Mercedes Wagon and waved as it drove back out to the road.

Werecatleopard is dead.

JOAOAA was walking down the street when suddenly Herlock, Flume, M_F_M, Promethazine, Tomino and YorozuyaGinSan ganged up on him and arrested him for no reason.JOAOAA has been arrested.
