Hey guys! First time posting here but I'll get straight to the point. I really really enjoy anime with an overpowered (or at least very strong) male lead. So many anime I watch have a male lead who get pushed around all the time by girls. And I think it's funny sometimes, yes. But sometimes it's nice to just see the main be a badass. I also would like an anime made within the last five years. I know it's a dumb complaint, but the older animation styles bother me. I also don't want any of the "big" animes recommended. I've already seen all of them like DBZ, Naruto, fairy tail, etc. I also like harems although it's not required. I want the main to be a male, who is ALREADY immensely strong. I dont want to wait for him to become strong.I know I see this asked a lot but I really can't find any good recommendations which I haven't already seen. I'll give a few examples (sorry if spelling errors, I'm doing this from my phone) . please put descriptions with your reccs, so it will be easier to see if I'm interested. Kaze no stigma- Great example. Badass, gave no fucks. Unique powers and overall good anime. Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou- Loved this one too. So much power he cant even control it at the beginning. Ecchi, harem, and hilarious. Great one. Chrome Shelled Regios- I enjoyed it. The main hides the power, which is fine, but I also like when they're open with it. Campione- harem, strong, just, confident main. I loved it. Sword art online- LOVED this one. Especially the first arc. Perfect example. Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?- probably the best example on here. Super OP main who gives no fucks. Wish it was longer though. Code breaker- Super Badass, doesn't give a shit. Good example. Legend of the legendary heroes- decent example, but cuts off too early, really dark at times, and gets picked on by the girl all the time. You also only see him go really Badass a couple times. Some things I would like to see, but not required. 1 harem 2 romance (like SAO, doesn't have to be a big part of it) 3 in a school setting 4 not too dark, has humor (like demon king) 5 the main answers to nobody. Once again, I appreciate any and all input! Sorry, my list isnt very well updated so it might be hard to find good reccs. Thank you all, I appreciate it! |

+1 to Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, although it's not actually a harem despite what some people say. Noragami may also kind of fit. |

You'd like Blood Lad just what you're looking for. I wish I had some more but most of the others that fit that description aren't recommendation worthy in my opinion. But watch Blood Lad. I should also add that it is incomplete, so if there is a downside that it. well I didn't feel right just saying one so here is one more Tokyo Ghoul first very dark. However it does lead to an op main character. You may want to wait a few months for the second season to come out first. |

you sound like you may have alrdy seen every one of these types of animes, but ill give it a go Gundam Seed + Destiny - best pilot in-universe(in the universe the anime is set in). Struggles with morality at first but figures out what direction he wants to head in about 30 eps into the 100 ep series. Has good romance and doesn't answer to anyone after from ep 30 on Hataraku Maou Sama - main guy is hilarious as fuck and pretty OP too. doesn't answser to anyone except his mcdonalds manager(LOL) Kaichou wa Maid Sama - no superpowers involved, OP MC in a SOL. Good looking, doesn't need to study but at top of class, doesn't play sports but stomps everyone at sportsy stuff still, lives by himself so answers to no one(the manga goes past the anime and he has family to deal with) Busou Renkin - more along the lines of a typical shounen, so not as OP, but still I would say stronger than average and has good romance imo Full Metal Panic - male is oblivious and has no common sense, but that's what makes it hilarious and he's op cuz he was a soldier since childhood. Strike the Blood - extremely similar to campione, but the MC is a bit more oblivious and less confident no game no life code geass zetsuen no tempest Akagi One outs All of these are not physically, OP in the smartness. also, you wrote all that with that kind of formatting all on your phone? shit I need to learn how to use my phone xD |

Would everyone say its good and worth. watching ? I've watched about every single 100% badass anime ever, and Oga Tatsumi ranks within my top 3. (Even if I include the darker ones) he's like the anti modern anime MC. He punches random people without any hesitation. He throws people out of windows etc. He shows no mercy, and everyone fears him. He never shows fear, and he only does shit for himself. Not like "omg, friend is in danga, i need to use moar power that i dont really have 2 save him" Was an episode like that. "Super hot girl and my best friend has been captured? Fuck that, I wanna play this awesome game. Ignored" Also, I'm gonna save you the time and write down all the reccomendations that are shit: Kaichou wa Maid Sama - Shoujo and badass doesn't fit together. Give up on it. Tokyo Ghoul - OP is Pussy code geass - MC is fkn weak, relying on a special power. I hate that, doesn't use his own strength. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - MC takes way to much shit. He might be strong, but he ain't badass. Now, I'm gonna second Blood Lad. MC is really strong, beats everyone up like he's a fkn god, meets his brother, brother makes him 100 times stronger than before by removing a bullet... Super strong. He also kills people without showing any emotions. Badass Crows - Badass MC, regular guy taking on gangs by himself, shows no fucks, likes fighting. Delinquent ( Lost two fights against the same guy, won once. Stronger than that guy towards the end) Kyou Kara ore Wa - same as above, MC acts like the world revolves around him. Super strong. MC is arrogant but funny/badass. Feared by everyone. (Never lost a fight) Hareluya II Boy - MC is super strong in this one aswell, never lost a fight. Goes around saying he wants to conquer the world (He never does) |

I know you want the MC to start out strong, so you don't have to wait, but I need to list this anyway(It's only a 3 ep wait, 3 ep out of a 78 ep series, so yea not much of a wait at all) The Legend of Condor Hero Here's a overview/review I wrote: http://www.anime-forums.com/showthread.php?158393-The-Legend-of-Condor-Hero-review Also you should definitely watch Kingdom I wrote a overview/review for this as well: http://www.anime-forums.com/showthread.php?157090-Kingdom-(complete-series) Both are masterpieces to say the least, with very strongs MCs, so you should love them. |

He might be strong, but he ain't badass. Gonna have to disagree here Kaichou maid sama - perhaps the genres don't work together that well, but I alrdy mentioned that it no superpowers and slice of life. If you want action oriented fight scenes with magic/swords you wont find that here. But it fits a lot of the requests in that it's a school setting, has romance(female is super tsundere but eh), and he answers to no one. In a world without any super powers, he is probably the most op mc. Code Geass - Alrdy mentioned that this one is a mentally OP mc, not physically. Yeah he's fkn weak, and relies on special power. But has to use strategy to manipulate people as well as work around the limitation of his power to achieve his goals. If you need to see the MC physically superior and curbstomping, then you can go ahead and skip this one. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - Okay the entire point of this show is to show how OP the main is. He kills people as 2nd nature. Not only is he retardedly strong, also smart as fuck. Yeah he takes a lot of shit, but that's either because he doesn't give enough shits to do something about it, or because he has to keep his multiple secret identities and powers hidden. as for Tokyo Ghoul, the MC is indeed a fucking pussy and weak as fuck. I've been told he was OP so I tanked thru 12 eps of dumb bitch MC to see 3 minutes of rape in final episode. Supposedly the next season is going to show more of his OP side so I'm hoping that's the case. |

I recommend Trinity Seven Akame ga Kill and Madan no Ou to Vanadis. They are all really great series that are all ongoing. What qualifies them: Trinity Seven- Badass male lead who says whats on his mind regardless, he is OP though needs to learn to control his magic, it is set in a magic academy, has a harem and possible romance. Akame ga KIll- MC is really strong and skilled as it is and only gets stronger. It follows a band of assassins with special weapons. They are all really strong and badass. Has hints of romance. Madan no Ou to Vanadis- Badass MC who doesnt show fear to the enemy. Extremely skilled in archery. Second MC is a woman known as a War Maiden. She possesses a sword with a unique power. She is very strong and OP. This anime has Romance and is a harem. All three of my recommendations are anime I really enjoy. they are ongoing but there is quite a few episodes out. I hope you like them :) |

Dude, I have no clue what else to watch either. I am at the point to where I have to spend a week looking for something cool and new to watch that I haven't seen before. Everything I could think of with an overpowered lead has been posted, so I'll just post whatever I can think of you might like.. Re Hamatora No Game No life Space Dandy Akame Ga Kill Kill la Kill Zetman Haikyuu (I don't know about you, but I like anime with a lead that has a polite and wimpy personality but make people's jaw drop when they see their raw talent.) Btooom! K Project Jormungand Log Horizon Cowboy Bebop Samurai Champloo Shingeki no Bahamut Psycho Pass Great Teacher Onizuka Gintama Samurai X (Rourori Kenshin) Hunter x Hunter Devil is a part timer Tokyo Ghoul second season (On January) Nobunaga Concerto beck mongolian chop squad Diamond No Ace One Outs Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun Kuroko No Basket Dear Boys Kaze No Stigma Gungrave Trigun Kingdom (anime) Donten ni Warau Nanatsu no Taizai ... I love these types of anime. Trigun tenchi muyo war on geminar (mc is perfect) eatman 98 kyou kara maoh (kinda a split personality thing so a bit ify if it fits) *The Third (main is a female though, sry) Terra E (psychic powers!) Pumpkin Scissors (not sure if I would call him THE lead character, might be though) Prince of Tennis (sport based) *Air Master (again female lead) *Black Lagoon Robertas Blood Trail (ova to black lagoon, op female) Eyeshield 21 (sport based, wimp MC and might not be considered OP by some) Heroic Age Irresponsible Captain Tylor Karas Towa no Quon |

Well, I really recommend these ones 1. Mahouka koukou no rettousei - This guy is the MOST OP guy I've seen in any anime that I've watched - and I've watched many. He stops and disintegrates bullets with his hands. It's in a school theme and is based around magic 2. 7 deadly sins. The main character, is OP as hell. Not school based but I would VERY highly recommend it. It is by far my number 1 anime of all time. 3. No Game No life. It is basically like Problem children, but in my opinion its better. They are siblings, guy and girl that are he best of the best in the gaming world and get sent to a world where games are everything. Oh, and yes, they beat a god in chess 4. Shokugeki no souma. This one is actually different. It is where a 15yr old guy is OP at cooking. He and his dad run a diner in Japan and they are well-known for being delicious. The boy enters a cooking school where everyone else's parents are rich etc. And only 10% of people graduate. WATCH IT! 5. Madan No Ou to Vandis. The setting is in an ancient world where war ravages on between two nations/factions. The main character is on the 'good' faction and his archery skills are second to none. He gets recruited by a war maiden, sexy girls who are OP, into the 'bad' faction. A VERY VERY good watch. |
