I dunno if they could make an actual couple in the show, but I would like that. I find them charming together for a reason. I'd love to see more interaction between the two. I do like scenes like this

The two above girls are correct overall, but didn't add anything to the conversation, so I'll try to add a bit more.

It seems the show doesn't want to even go the relationship route with anyone. It does plenty of teasing though. The series likes to put her together with a Mikoshiba brother, though it's always 1-sided. Obviously for comic-relief.

The season hopefully explores the relationships between the members. I kind of wish there was more interaction between Haru and Gou last season, given the whole ordeal with Rin.

Dont think its going to happen, not in this kind of anime. But I'd be satisfied with some hints suggesting that there's sth between them... like shy glances or pink cheeks after accidental touch (of course on Gou's part - I don't believe Haru is capable of things like this :D )

I'm pretty sure Free! was made so that it could hint at every possible pairing without ever actually confirming any of the pairings. (except rei x nagisa cough cough)

But that's exactly why I like it...the show is actually incredibly good at making you ship everything without actually being canonically romantic in any way.

I can see teeny weeny bits of interaction but otherwise I can only see Gou and Momotarou/Seijuurou happening, and even that is questionable considering Seijuurou has graduated and Momotarou seems to be more comic relief when it comes to Gou.

It would be too troublesome to add romance into this anime because it needs so much focus on sports and relationships between the swimmers.

I really like them together, because of Rin and her past and history with Haru and and the way they are actually serious with each other at times..they seem compatible..to me anyway.
Personally I dislike the Mikoshiba pairing or Momo because they seem so pushy when she is clearly not interested. A total turn off.
Of course, like already mentioned, this show hints at like all the pairings and I don't think there will be any official couples in the end.. because its not a romance anime I guess.
