Well, as the title says, are there actually romance anime out there that have No, or almost no drama?

I want it to have a happy ending and that they end up as a couple. Even if it is in the last episode.
Ofc, there should be no love triangle or anything of the sorts, since that adds drama.

Special A is kinda similar to Kaichou Wa Maid Sama. So, if you liked that give SA a try.

There is Bonnouji manga.

Otherwise romance with no drama is rare and not really worth watching.

Special A: I didn't like the MC. Even if he was right, he always acted like he was ''better'' than the other (especially than the girl).

Well, saying with no drama maybe is exagerated, but there are some anime that have low drama. Some examples

Amagami SS (Yeah, i know, it's omnibus)
Say I Love you! (It had a love triangle, but somehow it never really ''evolved'' into something. There was no way one of them would ''breakup''. Not the slightest chance)

I haven't watched Romance Animes with no drama yet especially in SHOUJO genre. But I can recommend you some animes that the couple end up together but love triangles and drama before it.
The world shall know the truth soon.

Like i said, Special A is very similar to Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, Kei is known for being similar to Usui. The only difference between the 2 is that Kei is a little bit more arrogant than Usui.

But well, might have to watch it..

Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na: Crescent Love on your PTW list, has no drama and a very happy end.

Nodame Cantabile also has no drama, at least in the first season, don't know about the others, but I'm pretty sure it has happy end.

Okay, it was a long time ago I saw it so I could be wrong. But as I remember it, no, there's absolutely no love triangles.

I'm pretty confident about this.

Okay, just finnished Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na: Crescent Love.

It sure was lighhearted and there was really no romance drama.

Little question:
Has Ai Yori Aoshi much drama? Also, what about the ending, does the MC end up with one of the girl? Is it a happy ending generaly, or are all the other girls sad?

Yeah, i've herd about Kimi ni Todoke, but what turn's me a bit off is that even after 2 seasons they still aren't an official couple.

Kimi ni Todoke had a great bunch of characters and some really nice scenes which I still remember and sometimes even today think back on. But the confession was hair-pulling and drove me almost insane! :p

But it's still one of my favorite romance anime, and one that I remember most of. Definitely going to rewatch it sometime, which I only feel for like maybe 4 or 5 anime of the ones I've watched.

I definitely recommend anyone to watch it.

As for Ai Yori Aoshi I don't remember much. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they become a couple early on but have to keep it a secret from everyone, meanwhile a bunch of other girls start living with them and cling to the guy, ek... I remember the ending was disappointing or uneventful or something, obviously a another season is coming type of ending.

Wait,

Are they actually a couple in Kimi Ni Todoke? You just said something about confession.. :) There is something that made me ''not watch it''. Maybe there was no kiss scene after 2 seasons?

Ai Yori Aoshi: Definitely going to wait for someone to confirm. Also, can anyone tell me what happens at the end? Of each, season 1 and 2

Hatsukoi Limited: How far does each ''couple'' go? Or, can you even call them a couple? The synopsis sounds interesting, but it sounds like there could easily be a love triangle, i can be mistaken tough.

Does each ''couple'' end with a happy ending?

I see.

That's probably what kept me away from it. 2 Seasons of a pure-romance anime with no kiss? Pretty annyoing. I might give it a try anyways. Thanks for the info :)

About Kimi Ni Todoke WARNING, the anime is painfully slow, it's rumored to be the slowest romance anime out there.

Yeah, i know about that. That's probably one of the reasons why i didn't start it yet. I mean, i've heard they only become a couple at the end of season 2. Is that correct?
Also, is there going to be something like a love triangle?

I really don't know I didn't watch the anime just reviews of how it was so slow and stuff like that.

Oh and I really recommend watching Speacial A it's just a copy of kaicho wa maid-sama, kei is faking being modest just to mess around with the girl.

this anime is really good. it was one of my first anime romance anime iv seen that actually led to
/ led to a ending worthy to be called AN ENDING that has little to non flaws, ( this is my opinion ) and the love triangle is more like a triangle with one side missing xD. so i would not call it a anime with a love triangle.

Btw:
Does anybody know a bit more about Mikakunin de Shinkoukei?

Is it your typicall rom-com? Has it much drama? Also, how far does the romance go in it? I read that they are engaged, but do they ''accept'' it? Also, is the ending happy and satisfying?

Mikakunin de Shinkoukei has no drama whatsoever. The romance is really slow and cute, with a bunch of his-little-sister-vs-her-bigger-sister-filler, which i found a bit tiring. But it's really good!

At the end they come a bit closer, but it's an end of season ending and not a end of story ending.

It's really really light-hearted and anxiety-free show, perfect happy pill :)

Acchi Kocchi is more slice of life then romance. I guess there is some there. There is definitely no drama or love triangles. Also i'm surprised nobody has recommended lamune. It's pretty slow, but theres barely any drama. There is some in episode 11 and 12, and there are little tidbits along the way to that like mikakunin de shinkoukei

Like toaoffire said, these is no drama, but there is practically no romance in Acchi Koochi. The type of romance you are looking for isn't in this anime. It just shows cute interactions between them with mainly cute comedy episodic events.

Hard to find any really good romance without some drama to make it feel progressive/meaningful. Maybe some anime with minor drama that doesn't last longer than 1 or 2 episodes?

Is acchi kocchi comparable to Mikakunin? In terms of romance? Or is there less? In miku the girl "accepts" the engagemend at the end, so this is pretty "developed" for a romcom i guess.

Short romance anime 1-2 ep. With little drama are good aswell, if there are any.

Uhm, I just realized you haven't watched Ah! My Goddess!. There's like over 50 eps, with little to no drama. At least from what I can remember. I should probably rewatch this series some day :/

Also, I don't remember Dragon Crisis! having much drama.

Hanamaru Youchien has a very nice slow romance, the girl is really dense :p However, the romance never gets very far in the anime, you have to read the manga for that. But it's a really cute show.

Nanatsuiro Drops also had very little to no drama from what I can remember.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong :p

@Tazu: I see. Can i compare it to Mikakunin in terms of ''sweetness'' and comedy? Might aswell check it out if it is as cute as Mika. Even if the romance doesn't goes very far. I guess they are all together/ going together to school at the end, right?

@Nyron: I sure see what you mean. Even in my eyes it makes almost no sense to try and search for a Romance anime with no drama, since well, you can't even really make a plot or anything else. Well yeah, you could as far as the anime is action or anything like this. It's not that i mind ''action-drama''. For example: MC almost dying in battle or something like this is good and all (as long as he doesnt really dies), but i don't like ''romance-drama''. You know, a misunderstanding or something like that is fine aswell, but then if it goes on and on missunderstanding after missunderstaing and breakup etc etc, that's just what i don't like.

@Baqa: How far does the romance goes in Ah! My Goddess? Also, is it a harem? And, are they all still ''together'' at the end?

I've seen Dragon Crisis. I'd say it has ''mild to no'' Drama. I remember her getting kidnapped but it resolves pretty fast.

Hanamaru: I started to watch thise but dropped it after, hmm, episode 2 maybe? Or 3. It's a cute anime and all, but well, i don't know. How far does the romance goes in the ANIME? Does she atleast realize that MC likes her?

Nanatsuiro Drops: This sounds somewhat childish, but somehow it peeked my interest. How far does the romance goes in it? Does the girl find out that the ''lamb'' is actually the MC? Happy ending? Well, i guess since you said almost no drama.

Is Lamune really that ''drama-free''? I've heard it has quit plenty of drama? Will they end up together? Also, is there a kiss scene or ''something'' that shows they are really a couple? Like a ''mutual'' confession, that get's accepted ofc.? Will they still be together at the end?

Ah! My Goddess! is not harem. And they will always be together :) Their love is unconditional :p

I don't really remember how far the romance went in Hanamaru, I don't think she realized he liked her by the end :/

As for Nanatsuiro Drops, I don't remember. I know it has a happy ending. I would never have rated it that high unless the ending and the anime was good. I also have a very strong preference for drama-free romances. :)
