| The Chat Club’s activity level is at an all time high, and yet the club has no administration. This means that internal club issues need to be dealt with directly by the moderators, whereas normally the club admins handle most of the moderation. For this reason, we would like the club members to elect admins. This is an opportunity for the chat club to work together with the staff, so everyone can enjoy the activity of the club without moderators needing to be involved. A club admin’s duty would consist of restricting content which violates the Site & Forum Guidelines, so that we don’t need to step into the club and do this ourselves. This means: - Deleting NSFM images posted and/or uploaded by club users. - Ensuring flaming and abuse is not directed towards non-club members (who have not agreed to the rough nature of the club). Should such comments be made, the admin(s) should immediately remove the posts and redirect the conversation to other subjects. - Preventing excessive abuse/harassment towards club members. If the member is not wanted in the club that badly, then they should be removed. Some level of baiting/joshing is part of the club’s atmosphere and is expected based on the club’s information. However, these statements should not be directed towards non-club members. Keep in mind that the club admins will be working independently. Forum moderators will not be contacting them for every issue that comes up, unless members are reporting the ineffectiveness of the admin(s). You may nominate someone else for the admin position. We are looking for strong candidates who understand the concerns we are facing and are willing to deal with the aforementioned cases that occur within the club. Thank you for considering this matter. It's the moderators that are asking for admin volunteers, it's the moderators that will decide who is good for the position, and it's the moderators that can take it away should the positions be abused.
