All those dudes in video games that are either the main protagonist with huge muscles or the countless of faceless males that are killed (at a ridiculously disproportionate rate than women characters) are what? If we just look at video games for what they actually are...we find out that the reason why things are the way they are is not to be inherently sexist, it's simply for the sake of fantasy and nothing else. The same reason why anime objectifies both males and females as well....they are for the enjoyment of the viewer both male and female. |

It's the same reasoning in anime? Are Harem anime made for males or females in mind? There are several video games where females are the protagonists and they get to kill male characters in horrific manners.....would I then conclude that video games are sexist against males? People can see sexism in practically anything if that's what they're really searching for. |
