| I was a maplestory addict for a long time and my friend told me about some malestory anime coming out..at first i was like wow! really?!!, but after i saw the opening for the anime it just completely discouraged me from watching it. its too childish for me. i still love maplestory ....but the anime =wth... |

| I watched the first episode. The OP was atrocious, so I skipped past it (never a good sign when I'm first watching an anime). I could only watch the main episode for about five minutes before turning it off from sheer boredom. I used to really like the game, though ^^; |

| well, a lot of my friends go "OMG it sucks" but they don't understand that it's MEANT to be a children's show. while the character design is not so good, the animation quality is pleasant enough. since Studio Madhouse is in charge of it, it's in good hands. there's a stellar voice cast as well - Kuwashima Houko as Al, Endo Aya as Nina, and Mizuki Nana as Krone. (if they ever put Paku Romi in this series, it's a definite keeper xD) The OP by Younha and the ED by Orikasa Fumiko are great as well. personally, MapleStory the game isn't that bad - the characters are much cuter and it's a fun and easy game for someone new to MMORPGs, like me. the only thing that makes MS a waste of time is the childish, annoying community out there. and obviously since it's no fun playing on my own after my best friends stopped, I quit. or maybe it's only Scania server that is crowded with stupid people and hackers and the like. I put this anime on hold for other stuff but I might come back from time to time :P |

| Play the game and kinda like it. When I heard about the anime, I ended up just watching the opening and decided that I'm NOT gonna watch it. Not like the game is epic or anything, but it wouldn't of hurt if they had tried to actually make it more like the game it was based on. I have nothing against "childish" anime, but this is one I will not be watching. It looks to be about as disappointing as Spirit's Within was for the FF series. |

| Although I really like the game, but the anime was just.. It gives the impression that it falls into the same league as Digimon and Monster Farm. Only difference is that the mushroom monster is less cute compared to the ones found in those two other series. I would give the game 10/10. However, the first episode of this anime gets 5/10. |

| Lul, The game..I used to be the 2nd~ highest level bandit in Bera (level 63) when i quit. 100% legit :). The summer events were amazingly fun, But i quit soon after. |
| I liked it ^^ I just love the game. I think it's for a little stupid that in anime aren't Grendel, Athena and other guys. I really like them .__. And I want Zakum lol XDD |
| It doesn't reflect to the game, strike one. The slice of life deal was probably aimed towards kids, but the way they portrayed it makes it feel like they are treating the audience like an idiot. Strike two. The plot falls into the stereotypical good vs. bad, no attempt to spice things up besides a few 'strong' monsters. Strike three. It would of been more interesting if it were based on players playing this online game such as the .hack// series but besides that, if they want to throw something cheesy at the last minute, then let them be. |

| I used to play MapleStory until last year. Then I gave up after I leveled my Demon Slayer to 200. But this anime is one of the worst anime I've seen. 1/5 |

| Cleaning my "to watch later" and "not watching" list... saw this series title and wondered what it was... watched episode 1.. well, into the "not watching"... LOL (pre 2015 game animes are all terrible huh...) BTW... the RAW language isn't Japanese... it's Korean... |
