So apparently the event didn't update with scores from yesterday. Yesterday I saw my song score was at 286,000 putting me around 22000th place. So I tried to maximize my score as best I could and managed to get a new high score of 290,000, which looking at the chart would have put me in the top 20,000 bracket.

Well I just logged in to see I was only awarded 2 lovecas instead of 3, so I checked the high score list, and sure enough it still listed my score at 286,000. I guess next time I'll have to remember to take care of everything 2 days before it ends instead of the last day.

I really have no luck in this game. I tried going for a top 10k rank to get that second Nozomi card. Spent 17 lovecas (though I got 8 lovecas that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise, so its more like I spent 9) and got 30k points. 5 hours before the end I was ranked in the top 6k. Went to sleep and when I woke up I was suddenly ranked 11k. With 700 points missing to get into the top 10k too. fml

The one positive thing is that I actually managed to full combo the EX version of the event song on my 47th try. Anyway, I guess I should take a break until the next event starts.

I haven't put a lot of money into this game yet, but out of the 6 11-pack draws I've done, I've only gotten 1 UR (+10 rares) and never more than 1 SR at a time. And I've never pulled anything except a junk rare from the single ticket draws I've ever gotten. T_T

I share your pain. Back in the earlier events, when it was Top 8k to get the SR card... I thought I was safe at 6.7k rank. Checked after the maintenance, and I was ranked 8.3k, with 200 points gap from rank 8k. That was my best chance, but now you need to spend so many Loveca to even get into the Top 10k.

It happened the same thing with me in the last Umi event, it's really frustrating.

But that time I've learned the lesson so with Nozomi I've grinded until the 03:00 AM (here the event ends at 07:00, when I have to wake up to go to work lol) reaching the 3500~ position and getting the second SR \ò/

Yeah, I guess you really can't compromise when trying to get the second SR. I may try again with the upcoming event (which should be a Score Match with Rin as reward). I'm now at the point where I have all my teams filled with SRs or higher, so I can only really improve my teams with awakened SRs or URs, but with my (lack of) card drawing luck it seems like a good idea to aim for the event SRs, at least for the less popular characters.

Got my event Nozomi safely awakened! Still, didn't expect the 10k border to go over 30k points for this event, guess the game is getting more active players.

You can get Kadota Tsurugi (smile) the same time they update the premium recruitment with this event's Nozomi.

I just found out about this game recently and have been playing it pretty much as much as I can. I've read pretty much every post in this thread to try and improve. Everyone here seems to be nice.

I love the wiki too. It's helped me understand this game. I wished every game I played had a great group like this.

I just did my full 10+1 pull and got the Valentine's day UR Nico.

It's better to use try to get SRs from recruitments because the non-event ones offer more kizuna and theres a chance to get UR! But if you love the new event SR you should try to get a second one

i keep getting 2SR cards from 10+1 at most. really hope to get a UR card from 10+1 one day but i dont think its coming anytime soon. only UR card i have now is the christmas kotori one. effect and stats are quite sucky actually, but since its kotori, i had to bear with it

Eh, but both event and non-event SRs have the same set value of maximum kizuna. 250/ awakened 500. Unless you meant something else.

Well that's weird. It's a campaign running from last year's June, every newly registered player should get the bonuses. Regardless if you're on iPhone or Android, if I may add. The Android commemorative campaign is three lovecas for ten consecutive days, the ticket in the picture up there is just plain registration present, actually.

An official localization is on its way, it seems.

Overseas distribution of "Love Live! School Idol Festival" has been decided.

Starting spring 2014, we will release English, Chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong and Korean versions, in this order.

※These will be identical to the original version being distributed in Japan albeit localized, however they will not share the same management and server.

Doubt it. Different country, different servers. Best option IS the Japan one, because it's going to last. Other servers can die out anytime. Look at MapleStory, GunBound, etc.

Is there a way to search within a thread?
I'm gonna be a noob, I can't find it.

Anyways, I dunno if anyone has touched on installing LL game on android without having to wait for apk updates: using a VPN. I also checked the wiki, no info. Anyways, you can install directly from the Play store using a VPN app to access Japan's store.

Does anybody know what the little music note means? I have a couple -of maxed out cards that have them. I can't feed those cards to my SR and R cards _-_

I was under the impression the info is over at the wiki, but since that doesn't seem to be the case...

It means you've added the card into favourites. The option is there so you won't accidentally feed it to a card you're leveling up. You can't sell them too. Go see the card's details and hit the purple "お気に入り解除" button under stats. This will remove it from favourites. It goes without saying it's best to have your R+ cards under favourites.

Definitely liking score matches better... Keeps me from getting bored of playing the same song lol (not to mention a random selection of EX songs and event songs makes it more fun).

Out of curiosity, do you guys just play this game normally for events (such as make sure LP isn't full while you're not awake, but still sleeping normally), or do you guys keep playing it by having small naps instead of sleeping normally just to make sure LP never gets full o.o'?

For score match, the point threshold is much higher, it's harder to get <40k rank than the other event since every game you play in score match gets you points, rather than the other event where you repeat the same songs over and over, guess it bores and takes too much time for some people.

I still let an hour or two worth of LP slip by the last event, but I've reached a point where I don't have to worry much about this. I did waste a lot of LP in my first events, tho. Not like you can completely avoid this at lower ranks, but sleeping normally and getting the SR isn't a problem too.

The format of score matches is sweet and definitely more fun, but I don't really like them altogether for a simple reason. Even if you are the only one who FC'd your song, you can easily end up being last if you're in a group of payplayers. Yeah, it's only fair for them, objectively speaking, but it still irks me as a participant. :<

That being said, I've been pretty lucky so far for this event and got in the first place a lot, but then I'm only playing on hard. Seems the majority of those pouring in thousands of yens plays mainly EX songs. So EX songs being in the pool are nice and all, but the point rate is so poor I myself play them only once in a while.

Well, many people just collect the tokens and wait for the EX and x4 songs in a token event, but you can't stock up like that in a score match, so the rankings don't hide anything and players who want the second SR act right away when they're pushed under the border, I guess. Might be people trying to get a head start while they can since they won't be able to play during the weekend 'cause of the concert, too. Not sure if the border was much lower at this time last score match, tho.
