| Druaga no Tou is seen as an MMO anime, because of the multiple elements (including a minigame of the dungeon inside the dungeon...) where death is permanent. .hack//Sign and .hack//Quantum are pretty decent as well. |

I loved it, though the ending in the anime was shit and was completely different from the anime in the manga which made a lot more sense. |

| All of the .hack// franchise and the first season of Gantz... The currently airing Log Horizon somewhat fits your criteria based on the fact they're trapped in a game. I'm a bit confused, you say you want 18+ shows but then you list off a bunch of pg-13 stuff. |

| Ganz was the 1st and posibily still the best survival game anime, anime isnt bad is just that the manga is alot better. Then there is mirai nikki, btoom, dengenropa, devil survivor 2, crime edge, corpose party.. all these are survivals. And sorry but all hack series suxs :/ . You can check higurashi no koro ni, is a good gore drama. |
