| Afro Samurai - this is almost certainly what you're looking for Blood the Last Vampire, Blood-C - blood blood blood. Akira Claymore - more stylised, tentacly monstery violence than outright 'ouch'. Berserk Deadman Wonderland - cause blood powers Souten Kouro - I recall it had some detached but graphic stuff. Mnemosyne - has its moments, though probably not the feel you want. Ninja Scroll (film) - 90's violence Kara no Kyoukai - I guess the (spread) action scenes tended to have a brutal/gory feel. Probably very violent but I haven't seen: Genocyber Shigurui Gantz? Someone else out there probably knows a truckload of 80-90s ultraviolent series, OVAs and films. |

I guess I don't notice which ones have blood very much since its never really bothered me :/ Tokkou (LOTS of blood and dismemberment) Kiss Dum: Engage Planet (I think, I can't remember if there was blood or not. But a BUNCH of fighting) Samurai Gun (head's up, no conclusion to this anime, bunch of unanswered questions) |
