| If you came to this thread to bash on opinions or to troll-post, please leave, this is for serious discussion only So, what we see a lot in the japanese media (maybe not like some time ago) are stories about girls with supernatural power and their adventures among this world, thing is, they might be actually real if you take in accout how the theory of heliocentry and the earth being a sphere were not accepted in the older times. - Things like electricity could never be even imagined some ages ago. - The internet is still something that some people don't believe in. The existance of magical girls could be a strange theory for today but it could be normally accepted in the near (?) future. Do you think all people are disrespectful towards people that believe in them? For example, at the end of my college everyone had to present a presentation about a topic and defend it, if you pass you will be able to get the diploma etc.. anyway I didn't have many ideas of things to defend/present so I decided to present about the possibility of magic and magical girls. I even brought some Lyrical Nanoha that day to help defend my hipotesys. Thing is, some people laughed at me, some people asked if I had some sort of problem, this is an example of how people fail to fail to not fail on being disrespectful towards the subject. Also, I don't think the government could handle the uproar that would start if people discovered the truth about them (THAT IS, IF THEY'RE REAL OR NOT REAL, I'm not implying they are, nobody knows), so it's possible they have been silencing people who talk about it. And I believe that's why they created the anime media, where they portrait possibly real occurrences and try to show to the public how is their live and about their existence. Plus, if they were not real then how could they do the stuff they do? Like using magic to fly and blast lasers etc. So, do you believe they are real? What do you think is the source of their magical powers? Have yo ever searched for magical girls? Have you ever met a girl that imediately made you think "this girl is definitely a magical girl" ? Have you ever seen a fat magical girl? Do you think Suzune-chan is a magical girl? And lastly but not leastly, why do you think other people don't take you seriously when you talk about your beliefs? Discuss, and if possible, share your experiences with possible magical girls. |

| I don't believe in magic. If it's true, then there's surely be science hidden behind the logic that is still unexplained but will be if some studies will be done. Nevertheless, I respect believers of that stuff for as long as they don't do harm to other people. |
