Just a thought, seeing as how the last episode (17) kinda wrapped everything up...
No hope?

That and along with the controversy and yada yada blah.

I can still be hopeful though!

God I hope so... Kokoro connect has been one of the better animes of 2012. It's also gotten stellar reviews and for the most part it's extremely popular. I've watched tons of animes and KC is ranked in my top 10. If nyarko can get another season why can't KC?! No offense to those who liked nyarko :)

I just hope that whole mess has died down with the otaku in Japan.. I guess we'll have to wait until the last of the blurays are sold to see if its going to get another season. The last eps were freakin brilliant.. And seeing inaban and taichi finally start going out made my day.

There is more than another four volumes.
Anyway, because of the controversey, I doubt it. I like the series and would love to see more of it, but it is based off sales. After the voice actor thing, it was completely boycotted. Even the light novel was, and it had nothing to do with what happened. So yeah, not much hope.

how is the controversy still a problem? if the guys was truely pissed with what they did he wouldn't have voiced for the 4 additional episodes for them. that either shows that it was planned or they sincerely apologized

Personally, the controversy thing did not affect my opinion of the anime at all...:P
Great anime. Just that the people behind it made an asshole move...

I wonder if it did to some people....

I would LOVE a 2nd season this is the other anime that I voted a 10 (the other being Kimi Ni Todoke, if this really adds any credibility and validity to my opinion.) I highly enjoyed this, the story, characters, underlining message and overall feel, so enjoyable.

I definitely think that an additional season would be excellent and hyped.

Seriously, anyone with a brain knows that the controversy has nothing to do with the series, either as the novels or the anime adaptation. From our perspective, it started out like a scandal, but then everything was magically okay. That points to either not-so-careful planning or complete forgiveness. Either way, there are no hard feelings now.

I don't believe that fans of the novels have anything to complain about with the anime adaptation (I certainly don't). And fans of the anime are, well, fans of the anime. So, the only people that would be against this series are those that wouldn't be watching it anyway, regardless of whether or not the "scandal" had ever actually occurred.

Long story short, we've seen four novels animated with plenty left to go. Be it a second season or a series of OVA episodes, I certainly hope to see more Kokoro Connect in the near future.

SPOILER ALERT*

I'm glad they didn't make a season two.I feel like I wasted my entire day watching this anime, and it was just REALLY annoying how they went about Iori and Setouchi. Especially how they made Iori turn into a random zombie for like 5 episodes, I remember thinking "they better have a real good reason for this" they it ended up being some shit reason. It was too forced how they made it seem like the Takaichi just stops liking her and it was in the passed when he loved her and now he randomly loves the man woman Iba. They just sloppily wrap up the feelings between Tak and Iori. I HATED IT. He ended up with the wrong person imo. And it felt REALLY Forced.

Oh, and yeah I'm probably just pissed because I liked Iori so much more than Iba. It killed the anime for me, real hard. But some of my criticisms with how they went about it were legit I guess. Idk they just completely shat all over Iori and it made me sad, I really liked Iori+Tak... Dunno.. Next time I'll make sure to watch something where I know that I'll like the heroine the guy ends up with.

There is more to it than just that. Iori was not living true to herself. Her and Taichis' love was a product of her living a lie. Now while they did truly love each other it happened at a terrible time. Basically lovers before their time and that in itself makes any futher love between them impossible.

I feel you, bro. And I thought I was the only one who liked the Iori-Taichi pair, I'm glad to see some people here who also share my thoughts. XD Just finished the anime a while ago and it kinda had a bittersweet feeling for me. A season 2 might not be really possible (or maybe no chance at all) but I would love to if they really do. The Novel's already finished with 10 volumes and I would love to see the final ending animated (although episode 17 really felt like a real ending). =3

Well I think the reason why Iori became zombie for last 5 eps isn't shit at all.. in fact I've ever experienced something like that for 3 months myself... And indeed I also prefer Iori X Taichi.. I mean like "C'mon Taichi you heard her already, so why you choose Inaba instead??"
So I don't really understand why you're glad that they're not going to make 2nd season??? I haven't read the novel anyway but I really hope Taichi will have a change of heart in the next 6 vol

Taichi did choose Iori but then Iori rejected him... So no.

I think the main problem is the whole controversy... since it ended up having the Kokoro Connect Radio Show canceled, and lots of people ended up sending hate and even death threats to people at Silver Link... if the controversy never even happened then things would probably be a lot better for this series, which I dearly love :'( </3

Is the controversy backlash towards Silver Link really that bad? Don't tell me this is one of the reasons that Watamote BD's are predicted to sell extremely low...

The LN series has already ended, with 8 main volumes and 2 side-story volumes. This season adapted 4 out of the 8 main volumes, which means a second season isn't impossible. If a second season were to ever occur for this series, I pray to god a different animation studio pick this up, so it doesn't sell as bad (only 3k for the first BD volume sigh).
