| You could just watch the last episode of Chrno Crusade, not a romance but that scene is worth anyhing. On a more serious note - sorry but I just scanned through the topic, I didn't read all of it so it might repeat. Someone mentioned ef - and you really should not think much about it just watch it - and watch it now, the story is complete there is no need to worry, the second season is a prequel altough I'd say you would be losing a bit if you saw that earlier so memories then melodies and I'm pretty sure you will be satisfied with it. Hakushaku to Yousei - unfortunately I've watched it so many years ago I don't really remember the exact way it went but I do remember a relationship between the cound and the witch doctor (was taht how it was?), well it's just as a side-note but I remember to have enjoyed it. Someone probably mentioned it already but Itazura na Kiss is dead-on what ur lookin' for. I kinda think second season of Kakumeiki Valvrave will also fit (in a way) Mirai Nikki I guess in some wicked way could be called a romance story. Myself;Yourself is a great even though you see them together only at the end (at least there is a good closing to the story with the epilogue). Yosuga no Sora: In Solitude, Where We Are Least Alone - that is if you don't mind watching a brother-sister romance relationship (at times it's pretty hardcore I must say) but it definetly fits your query. Oh and about Sukite II na yo - I know you saw that but you said nothing happened in there, from what I remember they already kissed and became a couple in like episode 1 or 2, I personally enjoyed this one quite a lot. I hope you will find at least one of the titles mentioned helpful - cheers mate! |

But then he goes away on a journey, then when he comes back, she goes on a journey... so they basically don't see each other at all. Major disappointment romance-wise... and it looked so good in the first two episodes! Saikano They're dating from the first episode I think... But this one is just weird and the story is simply written to depress you... I mean, the military is transforming a poor 15 year old girl into a weapon, making her less human by each episode, and nobody really cares or tries to do anything about it. Hakushaku to Yousei They never become a couple in this anime. She's way to unsure about the guy's womanizing ways. Spice and Wolf They become a couple not by confession, but by the way they interact and care for each other. By that I mean, a confession would only be icing on the cake and would probably not change much in the way they interact with each other. It's one of my top three romances. Eden of the East I don't remember them becoming a couple in the series.. but maybe in the movies that follow? Onegai Teacher I remember them becoming a couple pretty early.. But they keep it a secret.. and I think they even get married.. but my memory is really bad on this one. |

And I have to add that with a title like Romeo x Juliet it's not as romance-focused as you think it might be XD although it's pretty strong on story and character development. |

| Bokura ga ita and Itazura na kiss kind of fit, but they aren't really that good !! there's also Marmalade boy, which is a little similar to itazura na kiss but if you want something really good : NANA and Paradise Kiss :) |

Nana! - This is fun to watch SAO - I liked the relationships in this, I've already seen this T_T Bokura Ga Ita - I heard that this was frustrating Zero no Tsukaima - It was good, I liked the interactions that made up for the fact that its the last episode couple thing. Seto no Hanayome - They were early couple, but they didn't interact with each other much. Tetsuwan Birdy Decode - Doesn't seem like what I was asking for... Genshiken - This as well Kimi ga nozomu eien - Ill give this a shot, but the mood seems a bit depressing in this show. =p Kaichou wa Maid-sama - I am full of complaints in this post, THIS is the exact opposite of what I was requesting Special A! - Doesn't even come close to what I was asking for. Tokyo Marble Chocolate - Ill give this a shot, though its a short series Fushigi Yuugi - Isn't This a late romance? Onegai Teacher - Ill give this a shot, but is this a last moment romance also? School days - .... um... Maybe... later.... ef a tale of memories and melodies - Ill take a look into this Kare Kano! - The animation is tough to watch, but Ill give it a shot Saikano - Is this another late, or little romance one? Shuffle! - I HEARD THIS WAS A LAST EPISODE COUPLE? <------ ANSWER THIS ONE PLEASE!? Amagami SS and + - Seen this already, but the series doesn't dabble much on the couple factor Hakushaku to Yousei - Doesn't seem like what I was looking for. Myself;Yourself - Another last episode couple Hataraku Maou-sama - Exact opposite Of what I was looking for. Spice and Wolf - Just because they "hang" around each other.. doesn't mean they are together.... Sailor Moon - Little too light on romance Eden of the East - Is this another Last episode romance? Ranma 1/2 - They take forever. Zetsuen no Tempest - THERE'S NOT EVEN A COUPLE IN THIS ONE!! REALLY!?......-.- Guilty Crown - Its like a 5 second thing. Romeo x Juliet - I dunno about this one OH! AI YORI AOSHI - I found this one =p, but IT FITS EXACTLY to what I was looking for, more or less =p IF SOMEBODY could answer my questions, much appreciated! =D -THANKS! MORE SUGGESTIONS PLEASE! Itazura na Kiss is a bit overrated (ironic I know), it's not a bad romance but I think you should take a look at the romance genre as a whole and not just "what's shown after" they get together. Oh, I definitely like the romance Genre as a Whole, and if you see my list, you can clearly tell that I definitely like the genre, its just that.... I am getting fustrated of watching series after series where it just ends after the first kiss...
