THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Ahhhhh! I didn't shout out like this while watching any anime episode for a long time now!!

The clue given from previous ep was too easy. From the first time I saw that calender with "Date" written multiple times on it, I said: "That's obviously not the English word (de-to) デートbut the detective's name (date) ダテ"
Thanks to that and the other clue of ashita, asatte 明日、明後日 being a Hokkaido dialect, Conan was able to pinpoint the kidnapper.

Satou rushes into the kidnapper's apartment to find the kidnapper waiting with a bakudan suicchi 爆弾スイッチ (Bomb's activating switch) in one hand and a wain gurasu ワイングラス (wine glass) in the other one.

Satou takes a picture of him and sends it to the Detective Boys for confirmation.

Satou grabs that kidnapper 笛本 Fuemoto by his shirt when he starts blabbing that Wataru dumped Natalie for another woman (Satou, herself). She explains to him the misunderstanding of both Takagi Wataru and Date Wataru having the same last name. "Do you get it? Before you blow yourself up, listen to me pretty carefully! The one you have kidnapped is Takagi Wataru while Natalie's lover is Date Wataru! Moreover, he didn't dump her!"
Fuemoto: "B .. But, on her sent mail: (Wataru won't be coming anymore) was written"
Satou: "That's for sure! On that day, he was caught in a car accident and passed away!"
Fuemoto: "That .. that can't be true"
Satou: "So hurry, tell us about Takagi's location ..."

At that instant Fuemoto begins choking and Satou deduces that he might've had put poison in his wine.

He dies just like that without telling them anything.

The only clue left for Conan is a footage of a crow that came across the scene. That crow had a grey neck.

Takage successfully manages to cut the rope on his feet while everyone thought he was abnormally shaking from the coldness of the weather. He then throws the sheet under his feet down hoping someone would notice, only to discover "that"!

At the beginning of this episode, it was indeed zettai zetsumei (Absolute Despair). Then, when Conan came along, I thought: OK. This case is as good as solved.

When the kidnapper died because of his own poisoned wine, I thought: mata, zettai zetsumei! (Again, Absolute Despair!)

Frankly speaking, I had one moment of "I deducted that easily" when Conan explained that Date referred to Date Wataru. Additionally, I shouted four times in this ep!

First time was when Takagi dropped the towel, I was like everyone else in the police headquarters and shouted: "Ee-?!" (Eh?!)

Second time was after Takagi dropped the sheet and noticed something, I immediately shouted: " Are tte?" (That?)

Third time was when they revealed what Takagi saw. I shouted: "Eee?! Bakudan-?!" (Eeeh?! A bomb?!)

Fourth time was in next ep's preview. I shouted: "Haibara, toujou!" (Haibara enters!)

6/5!
It is really an amazing ep which kept me sitting at the edge of my chair.
Next ep's preview seems pretty awesome, too!
Next ep is the last part of the case with the title: "Rushing into the scene!"
Next ep's hint: Climate phenomenon

Can't wait~

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

I knew they'd go down the stupid misunderstanding route. You think he would try to figure out the full name of the guy who dumped her. And she was stupid too for committing suicide after being left alone for a day and not suspecting that something had happened to him, just went straight to suicide. Despite the interesting thing happening with Takagi, the criminal's motive is making me not enjoy this.

And what kind of stupid cops can't recognize a bird or at least see that it has a big gray band.

Of course the suspect kills himself...like a moron, and of course he leaves a bomb.

oh jesus... why couldn't anyone think of a better motive... such a waste.
"he didn't come, i assume he dumped me and commit suicide" sigh, people talking about that later "he actually died so he didn't drove her to suicide..." sigh. even if he dumped her that wouldn't be applicable.
both teachers, both crazy and dumb af. they should've become a couple instead of ending their lives
see you, space cowperson . . .
