| I have been very skeptical of this game ever since i saw what platinum games did with the first trailer, though i can say after watching this trailer that this is looking more and more like a true metal gear game. its looking like the game we all wanted when we were chopping up dudes in the finale to mgs 2 with raiden's sword as well as us wishing to play as him when he was kicking ass in 4 my only con with it is i feel they showed off to many of the bosses in this trailer |

To have him regain his self-worth and have a family, it's almost upsetting to see them mindlessly throw him back into combat after that. I'll play the game though, it'll probably have interesting game mechanics. I liked Vanquish a lot, so I'll try to keep an open mind. |

| Sorry, but I'm pretty much done with everything that takes place after MGS 4, Kojima clearly told us that MGS 4 is the "Last" MGS game in the series. It was an great ending. Why the fuck do you ruin it?? Not every franchise needs to be endless. Seriously I remember back in 2008 when Kojima came to Amsterdam at the MGS 4 premiere, still got his autograph on my MGS 3 cover. When I look at that autograph I'm suddenly pissed. |

| Canon or not, it should have been an original game. I'm not going to forget the previous events. Kojima should have devised an original story when Platinum Games came to him. Even a new cyborg ninja within the MGS universe would have been better. Although, I preferred Gray Fox being the only one, so I'd rather have an original game. |

| I believe we all know that every great video game series usually lives long enough to watch themselves become the villian(Mass Effect) or exit with a whimper of crappy sequels(Sonic franchise), Metal Gear Solid is no exception. DJIzzy seems to be adamantly against this school of thought apparently and he is entitled to that opinion. All I can say is to reiterate my first post, which is that I am extremely skeptical of the story-line they have chosen for this game but will try to hold further judgement for when I play the game. Also, the game isn't a stealth-action game either, which is the bread and butter of MGS gameplay. I'll admit that I'm also a little skeptical about this as well. |

I mean come on who did not want to play as cyborg Raiden and slice n dice and jump around all over. I am prepared for a sever let down tho just in case. | My self I couldn't stand Raiden is MGS2 he was so lame. He was like a lost little puppy. Ill take MGS4 Raiden any day of the week over MGS2 Raiden. MGS4 was a driven near unstoppable force to be reckoned with. But that's just me though, I am a fan of overwhelming power. |
