| Almost any anime from the Noitamina animation block could be consider Josei and many are based on Josei manga. Yes, it is a group under represented in anime but that doesn't mean we should remove the genre from the database. It also reflects the manga database in terms of genres. |

| More specific genres are nice to have if you ask me. Of course they would have fewer matches because they aren't as general as genres like action, drama, or horror. As for Josei...well it is pretty general in that it is one of the 18+ demographics, but it is kinda rare. Still necessary though. |
