| i have two requests: 1). old anime (before 2000), that have a sequel/alternate version/etc after 2000. i don't care about genre. 2). relatively short manga that have an average rating on mal above ~8.00. no romance, mecha, or space. also, what is the best program to view manga with? thanks in advance. |

I find it nicer to use a dedicated program (as opposed to a all-purpose image viewer), but can't really recommend either if I don't know what you're using. |
| @deadleeserious: thanks. i'm really looking forward to the first berserk movie, i plan to watch evangelion, waiting for lupin to finish, and i'll check out the other three as well. @phnsr: thanks, i'll check those out. oh, i forgot - windows 7. would this suffice: http://quivi.sourceforge.net/? @Enjolras1830: there's no reason to skip, i'll probably like most of them. it interests me to see sequels made years after the original, to compare the art/animation, and see how they've progressed in general. thanks for the tip though, what other series does that apply to? |

| As to your number one request...Slayers Revolution and Slayers Revolution R Saint Seiya Omega and the Saint Seiya OVAS like Lost Canvas and the Hades Chapter Ai no Kusabi 2012...it's yaoi but since you said you didn't care about genre, I guess I'll put it...lol. Patalliro Saiyuki! Also the best program that I have used to read manga so far that I have found is MangaMeeya... http://mangameeya.en.softonic.com/ It's a great program...it lets you bookmark parts where you leave off so that you can come back to them later...lets you easily configure mouse and keyboard options so you can control the way you read your manga. Even has a magnifying lens option so if there are any very small parts to read you can easily read them. Also has really good and easy zooming options. |
