Ordering both anime and manga entries by the date they were first added,

Does such a thing exist?

Sure. Go to your list settings and check to show the "Start Dates" column. Then go to your list for whichever status and click on the column title. It will only show the start date if you entered one, which is sometimes but not always done automatically. You can only view one status at a time and it looks like it only sorts in reverse chronological order. :/

You could always do it manually if you export your list, extract the gzip archive, open the xml with a spreadsheet program like Excel, then sort by "my_start_date". It has the same limitation for series where you never set any dates.

That's certainly an option, thanks saka!
I probably phrased that a bit too ambiguously though;

Is there a way to see the chronological order of anime/manga when they were added to MAL, not the date one started watching?

Copy/paste this link or just click anime and then just added. Things are added in sequential id order, so an anime with the id 1 was added before an anime with id 2 etc.

Now it's just to put those two answers together;

Is there a way to sort the titles in someone's list by the date they were added to the list, not the date they were watched?
