Going a bit into detail: - Shishou: Don't worry, you have a fine sig. - mEdiApAcK: Like it much more than the last one, but unfortunately her picture looks a bit rough in terms of quality. (edges) - Nuge: Your's is my favorite one out of today's new ones! Very nice! (though DarkFlash's is a close 2nd) I love new sigs! :D |

| I just joined the site a few hours ago, and I've been trying to make one of these fancy signatures. It took me about 15 minutes to throw it together, but about an hour to figure out the problem in the code. The entire thing was coming way out of order, and there white lines in between each piece. I never had problems with code like this before until I realized that there was an extra space in the code between two pictures. =/ It's sort of incomplete at the moment, there's a few extra thing that I need to fix up especially the MAL signature part(Having a hard time finding a color text that is readable). I hope I did the whole thing correctly, and it's within the signature rules. |

| This should be a little bit easier to read now. :) I just had to put some black on those very bright spots that made it ridiculously hard to see through. I really would really like to figure out how to get different font on the MAL Sig. I see a few people with it, and can't find any option to do so. |

Like the colors and the mal part is looking really good, though the font could be placed more in the cneter next time. Regarding your 2nd question: It's not a MAL option. Those users are using external rss feeded scripts or s.t. along these lines. |

| @mediapack Looks WAY better than your old one, I would recommend though that you lower the opacity of the diagonal white lines alittle, but that's just my take. @Factor Looks really good for your first sig, my first sig looked like crap compared to yours, good job. |

| updated~ i went back to the old mal sig style, i missed it. no matter how much i try to run away from patterns and gradients, they keep finding me. i need to stop hating my work and embrace what works for me.... overall, i like how this turned out. raikou and gau love~ they're not gay; they're heterosexual life partners! ALSO - i have to ask. i forgot what the max height was when i made my last sig, and it was actually 10 px over the limit. cyruz, did you notice and not say anything or did i just really luck out? xD |

| my brother is currently programming some simple effects like blur, glow and bevel effect (matix-abuse :3) I assume he has it ready tonight yay... btw. the note he left me from yesterday (I went early to sleep): kinda scary, we're rebuilding photoshop with php XD |

| Yeah Cyruz, its automatically updated, it parses the MAL app info feed, I asked xinil to add the details to the feed for exactly this purpose! Some things to check out if your interested: Generation log: http://s.khhq.net/gentime.txt Debug output: http://s.khhq.net/debug.php The debug output shows how the output is generated, and the log file gives you an idea of the two different cache systems. |

| eh.. you're chaching the xml? the xml data is so minimal it won't save much if you save that one on your server. I'm caching the image with a timestamp. all he checks is if time > timestamp + 5 minutes: generate new sig with xml request, else load chached image. (seen from you log you might have the same) your Exec Time is kinda slow too but that might be your server wich could be slow.. but still even with effects ect. my exec Time doesn't reach a second. |

| yes, it has to do with that MAL self just updates the feed every 15 minutes. if I have a bad timing it takes up to 20 minutes until my sig shows my last seen anime after I'd update. and to check the feed I'll have to load it. it's that less data that I just load it every 5 minutes per signature. (10 atm on my server). also updating the image doesn't take much for my server. It has an effect if I update it 1000 times in a second but not if once in 5 minutes. can be nice if you want to make a signature with some random functions like swapping images or changing positions within the signature |
