trying to squeeze every list yen out that franchise aren't they?
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

@ Tenchi_Ryu True, but it NEVER happened. Bardock died by my favorite anime villain's hands. I don't want to sound old-fashioned, but I'm with everyone who sees this as another cash cow. Damn, now I feel like watching DB/Z all over again lol. XD

why stop something that works... we all know how terrible naruto and bleach are, but of course they'll continue that garbage because it simply works.

But even Dragon Ball fans hated GT, and the franchise has been next to forgotten over the last couple years.

I doubt it "works" anymore.

I honestly think that some " What if" spin-off series would be pretty cool.

Ya know what...that would be pretty awesome if they'd did that for us. Hell I'd prefer the Buu saga over this spin-off. :/

Let's look on the bright side of things, it can't possible butcher the story any worse than what Dragonball Evolution did.

Yeah, but there is apparently a lot of Baccano! material not yet animated.

WHY!?!?!

DB/Z are my fav' anime's ever!
The manga is my fav' manga ever!
It's the reason I like anime and manga - years later, it's still of great quality.

It's rare that an anime production company and glorified fanfic' authors create something of great quality.
I have read this manga - it's not much different from any other 'shounen' filler - which I'm now convinced are all made by the same people. I better add, from a young age, I was never a massive fan of the Dragonball/Z movies (some are great) or the Garlic Jr saga - this was long before I even knew they weren't the authors material - I'm open to fillers being great, but many have dissapointed me.

Still, I understand why this is being done...
This series, 16 years after ending, still sells well - it's a certian cash injection, so I hope people enjoy it.
