If it's not too much trouble, I'm looking for something to watch/read that is similar or at least on the same page as Clannad. I'll even get as specific as something that starts off as a harem/romance then slowly the story changes into kind of a slice of life/supernatural/romance kind of thing like Clannad.

Some things I would probably appreciate recommendations for although I've already seen them:

~ Kanon
~ Kanon (2006)
~ Air
~ Angel Beats
~ Myself ; Yourself
~ H20: Footprints in the Sand
~ Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
~ Shuffle!

Also anything similar to those mentioned above will also be appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

I would recommend these, but these aren't perfectly fitting:

Ef a tale of memories - more mystery than supernatural, also not a slice of life series but drama heavy.

Toradora - it doesn't have supernatural side, but it is a lot like Clannad and I'm sure you would like it as well

Sola - slice of life and supernatural, slow pace and quite drama heavy at certain point

I would also recommend Lovely Complex and Rec as a romance series.
I definitely have superpowers. I can feel it in my balls.

I really reccommend the ef - a tale of memories/melodies series. Really touching. It's not quite the same as CLANNAD but it's still good.

Thank you for your suggestions. I've seen three of the five that you mentioned; the two that I haven't seen yet are ef - a tale of memories and Toradora. I'll definitely look into those. Question first, how does the drama in ef - a tale of memores compare to that of the drama in Clannad?

Thank you for your suggestion. I vaguely remember watching one of these a few years ago but I dropped it for reasons even I can't remember. Probably because I was still young and I couldn't understand the plot too well =S

I'll definitely finish it this time, after all I've read a lot of good things about this anime.l

I recommend ef - a tale of memories/melodies as well

Also check out True Tears.

These aren't exactly what you're looking for, but they are good drama/romance anime - Saikano and 5 Centimeters per Second

I'll 3rd the Ef. series, though theres a little difference between them.. Clannad is more of the crying drama and Ef is more of the MindF***ed drama... so yeh.. sigh at Ef. though tis good though

I've already seen Gift: Eternal Rainbow and True Tears; I apologize to those who recommended them and didn't see them on my list. I just joined this website and have yet to finish adding all the shows I've watched to it.

Also concerning the drama in the ef series, thank you for the information. Being mindf*cked is definitely interesting.

Agreed with Ano Hana. F/SN were not quite the show you looking for (more fighting/action than drama).

It kind of depends on what you liked about Clannad.

If you liked the supernatural(faint, not overtaking the story), romance, moe, and tear jerking aspect of Clannad + AS, then I'd recommend Ano Hana . This is probably the closest match.

If you're willing to explore a little further into the unknown, there's quite a few that has different elements of Clannad + AS. Here's a few examples.

(Tags listed in order of significance to story, for example, Bakemonogatari is not strictly about Romance)
Supernatural + A hint of comedy + Romance + Harem(ish?)
Bakemonogatari

Supernatural + Romance
Sola

Romance + Slice of Life + Comedy (In order of my recommendation)
Toradora
Kare Kano
True Tears
ef a tale of memories
ef a tale of melodies
Hatsukoi Limited
Kimikiss

Okay, let me butt my nose in for a sec. I wouldn't recommend starting another romance right after finishing Clannad AS just to 'fill the void', as your new show might get lost in its afterglow. I'd recommend putting a few lighter, less emotionally taxing anime like Hatsukoi Limited in between, as the rest are fairly serious (not as in tear jerking serious, but it requires an 'emotional connection' to enjoy). Or you can take a 180 turn and take on different shows, like Bakemonogatari. My experience with Clannad + AS was that I stopped watching anime altogether for a month and played the visual novel instead (other routes), because I just couldn't stomach anything else (too depressed from having to let it go).

Watching something similar to Clannad won't be a problem as I finished my most recent re-watch of it about 5 months ago, so more things like this won't cause any problems for me. Thank you for your consideration though :)

Also, thank you for your suggestions. I'll try to add the ones I've already seen to my list shortly.
