Kyube must die!

The question is how, and by whom?

(Why did Homora give up on killing it?)

What's the best way to kill it?

- Feed it to a witch?

- Feed it an unspoiled Soul Gem instead of a Grief Seed?

- Make a wish for its destruction?

I bet even if they kill him, he wont die...
I don't expect justice. I expect revenge, even if it solves nothing in the end.
I don't expect redemption. I expect decadence and self destruction.
I don't expect compassion. I expect selfishness.
I don't expect people making choices. I expect a cruel fate forced upon them.

honestly i dont understand why everyone finds kyube so evil, he isnt all that bad, the girls have plenty of warning, and he doesnt force their hands, they are given an impossible miracle after all, and their bodies become very resisant to damage, its a pretty fair trade, people just think they should get their powers, and their wishes for free...

Oh yes, he totally gives them fair warning and doesn't try to sway them into the decision at all...........pffft. He completely manipulates their choice at any given opportunity and makes them magical girls without telling them what it all really entails. He even dares spout the horribly annoying "you didn't ask" answer when asked why he witheld the information, which is as cheap an answer as he could have given. Yep, he's totally the nicest guy around.

Well I don't hate him, I love manipulative bitches, though Kyubey is uh... male mascot kitty-rabbit ... thingy? xD
But, lol, he IS a bad mascot (lol). In episode 6 I literally laughed my ass of when he told Sayaka to get Madoka on her side so casually, only after implying how strong she is xD
I think he's hillarious, being all cute and stuff on the outside and being so manipulative and bad on the inside xD

Kyuube's evil shit who was smiling when mai miyakoMami-san died, saying ripping the soul like nothing, manipulating every mahou shoujo with 'lol u didn't ask!!! so i dun tell!' kind of shit excuse. Homura said he does not understand human values. Fuck it, of course he knows, that's why he never tells everything.

I will cut his head off if I were to kill him.

I don't think Kyuubey is that nice, or that he really gave them fair warning. But like Homura said, Kyuubey doesn't play by human rules. Human morals and standards don't mean anything to him. A contract in which you get magical powers and a miracle in exchange for fighting witches until you die seems like a fair trade to Kyuubey. He doesn't see why humans value their souls so much.

He isn't that great of a guy, and it is definitely fishy that he doesn't give out horrifying details until specifically asked, but since he lives by different morals and rules I don't think he should be held that accountable for screwing with the Puella Magi. His main goal is just to make contracts, and telling girls the horrifying outcomes isn't going to accomplish that.

Also, Kyuubey has most likely seen countless Puella Magi die. He doesn't care about any of these girls at all. They are just clients with him. They get powers and a miracle, he gets a warrior to fight witches. When they die, he just moves on to a new girl or a new town.

This.

Everyone just mistakes his true neutral tendencies for unspeakable evil because he's so cute and he's in a superficially mahou shoujo setting.

I don't like him, because he's evil and tricks young teenage girls. if you think he gives warning to them, it's wrong. He forces Madoka to become Magical girl and lies to people that being magical girl is good. He turns people into zombies and tells them that they are superheroes who fight witches. But also I agree with GarLogan.

Now that is a very interesting thing. Yes, he is not living by human values and morals but the people he contracts with and the world he's affecting lives under human morals. If you are telling me the devil can't be held accountable for damning the human race just because he's not a human then you have a real funny way of seeing the world.

The problem is that he doesn't really seem to understand that.
Anyway, he wants to sell something. So he presents it in a good light and tries to keep silent about the drawbacks (isn't that pretty normal?). At least he still thinks it's a fair deal, so I don't think you can call him "evil" ...

Well, it's funny that you put it that way. CuBe has been compared to Mephistopheles many, many times, but I think that's really a very shallow interpretation of CuBe's character. I think that the Faust references were really little more than a foreshadowing of episode 3, and that using them as any more than that is beating a dead horse. Now we are presented with symbols like apples, fire, a tree, serpents, knowledge and ignorance, and unintended consequences. I think that this means that it's far more appropriate to view CuBe as allegorical in the same way as Prometheus or The Serpent rather than Mephistopheles or Lucifer.

I will agree with that. Evil's intent is to be ignorant of ones own desires and clearly not telling them what they need to know before giving them that desire is evil's way of making things easier for them to make you sell your soul. Think of it as a convenience that they have to make you part of them.

I wouldn't call Goethe's Mephistopheles shallow at all, and it's clear the series is based on Goethe's Faust. Ofcourse all magical girls are Faust, because of the contracting.
But thanks to great writing, we're still unable to tell if Madoka is Gretchen to Homura's Faust, Faust himself, or even God.
Goethe's Faust pt.1 has no/bad end, except for Gretchen's salvation.
In pt.2 Faust himself is redeemd.
The series can still go both ways.
And while QB is creepy, they can still come up with a twist that makes him a purely logical tool, created to protect humans from witches.
