The main theme is ghost hunting as the title suggests but there are a few romantic hints scattered here and there. Itazura na Kiss Primary focus is romance and high school life and then later, family life. Nodame Cantabile I don't know about cold but he's snappy as hell. Plenty romance. Shinrei Tantei Yakumo First class stereotypical protagonist. |

| Hmm. I suggest investigating Paradise Kiss. Slightly more hesitantly, I would also suggest Planetes (which has a romantic plot, but alongside a hard sf space exploration story), and more hesitantly still Darker than Black (which has romantic elements, and definitely a cold guy, but isn't as romantic). That's probably the limit of what I can propose, I'm sure other posters here will have better ideas than me (I was tempted to point to Armoured Trooper Votoms as the story of a brutalised ex-pilot recovering his emotions in a tentative romance with an engineered super-soldier, but I think that would be trolling). |
