| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- 10 years after the TV series we finally get an explanation of the identity of the "secret society" that Chirico constantly tangled with. It's not a very good explanation, but there it is. Chirico's story remains a boring "rescue the girl!" story and the only alternative is Teitania...who's story is apparently that she's falling in love with Chirico. They don't seem to be trying very hard with this one. The only interesting thing, that wounded soldiers are put into "cold coffins" where they usually die and are disposed of in blase, bureaucratic fashion, is merely a piece of atmosphere. And what was the meaning behind Teitania's bizarre stripping in front of those old men? Beyond what seems a cheap and horribly ineffective attempt to add sex appeal, it was apparently supposed to demonstrate how a "Nextant" was different from a "Perfect Soldier". But how? |

| Teitania can't stop thinking about Chirico, and now she's jealous of Fyana. Rochina has certainly aged, and appears to still have his mind, but has become a bit cuckoo. That doctor seems like a nice person, and he's helping Chirico. Now, Chirico is off to locate Fyana. |
