| I have no idea why some people start watching Aria the Origination without watching its prequels Aria the Animation and Aria the Natural followed by the OVA Aria the OVA ~Arietta~. If anyone out there (in IRC channel, anime blogs, anime news sites, anime forums etc.) suggested you to watch Origination before its prequels, then you have been absolutely misguided. The events in Origination take place after the events taking place in Animation, Natural and ~Arietta. Just because it is named ' The Origination', does not by any means, mean it is the beginning of the story. If you don't watch it in the order it came out, you'll certainly fail to enjoy one of the best things animated till this day.  Aria might seem an episodic anime which puts you to bed, but it doesn't change the fact that it is one of the most coherent episodic anime out there. Being an anime fan for more than 15 years now, I found this anime to be: 1. A Complete Original Work from Kozue Amano. 2. One of the most Powerful Stories ever told. 3. An anime with a great plot and character development throughout the series. 4. An anime with one of the most satisfactory endings ever. 5. and an anime which has more teachings in it than you'll probably learn in your entire lifetime. If you somehow still managed to dislike this anime, then I have nothing more to say. You either didn't start it from Aria the Animation or simply this show was never meant to be for you in the first place. |

| people probably don't watch the sequels first on purpose, origination does mean beginning. |

They might just jumps to Aria the Origination even without watching Aria the Animation first. It seems like they know Aria the Origination from the top anime (considering that Origination got at least top 100 anime in this site) and just give it a try without knowing its prequels. |

| Origination has 40,000 more members than The Natural lmao Edit: actually on closer look both seasons have been completed 30,000 times, Origination just has twice the PTW that Natural has. So not that many people actually watch this one first but they certainly do lol. |

| This show is old so back when this was airing there OFC wasn't as many people on MAL to help bump up the memebers for animation and natural during its airing time. Also with this being the highest rated, you'll have a lot of people put this on their plan to watch as well. I think thats why you see a lot more members for this show compared to the others. |

| I'm gonna be honest here, the first two seasons were barely passable. So I can see why people skip even though it's a DUMB thing to do. But yeah, you really need to watch the whole series to grasp the emotional connections that the finale has to offer! Should be obvious. |
