I recommend checking the top upcoming anime. The only new ip in the top 50 is Witch Hat Atelier, it looks like it will be the next big thing among fantasy anime.
Very unlikely, considering that with only 10 episodes there won't be much action and it will stop right before the next important arc (that's what I heard from manga readers).

why not? It seems to have already gotten a prestige throne in the community which it will probably continue. And the action parts seems to be most disliked part of last season. | @Magpareddi I was checking the score of the first season as it was airing, and I can say with certainty that the score always increased in correspondence with the most action-packed episodes and was decreasing after quite a few quiet episodes in a row. Some people did complain about the mage exam arc for being too "battle shounen-ish", but most people are actually fans of battle shounen and the like. |

There will be more new anime (both originals and new adaptations) than ever, they just won't be the most popular upcoming anime since they don't have a huge pre-existing fanbase.

Trigger always makes exactly one new anime per year excluding shorts, nothing has been confirmed for 2026 so Dungeon Meshi s2 might indeed be the one (I hope so).
