| Welcome to mal. In terms of my experience on twitter in the anime community it lacks genuine interaction where the platform creates an engagement farming environment. Not only that, but new accounts are often hidden so the interaction is bare bones to nonexistant. Also, mal is not pay to be seen. |

| Welcome to MyAnimeList! You have a great profile, great to see an Air fan! In my experience, twitter can be good if you find a niche fandom where there aren't too many people talking about a series and it's a tight group of people, but the fandoms for larger anime's are so much more toxic. Plus, for some reason it's 'popular' to be against otaku culture on twitter, which is just outrageous. Hope you enjoy it here, I'm also trying to use the forums more myself. Sent you a friend request! PS: I saw on your profile you are looking for visual novels, take a look at Witch on the Holy Night, it's fantastic. I don't really like other Type:Moon stuff but that visual novel is so great. |

| MAL is way better when it comes to discussing anime/manga than twitter. On twitter it's literally just new drama comes out because [insert popular shounen here] author got sent death threats because supposed "fans" of said series got mad because a gay ship people wanted wasn't made cannon. That or people complaining about a series having two seconds of fanservice. |
