In your opinion. Your ratings are insane, so you put almost everything a 10/10. You know what 10/10 means? You will say Yes but that’s just you being mistaken. Its a good anime, 8/10 is Great. Animes like this can’t be 10 since animes like AoT, The Big 3, HxH… are in another universe compared to Danjoru

Can’t compete with Kaguya, but a great 9 despite the annoying use of a triangular relationship. Similar in quality to Watari kun the last 2 seasons in having an annoying harem feel that detracts from the progress of the romance. The art and characters are great but the situations are contrived to create an over complicated story. Only a minor issue but still, like I said before it’s a 9 to me.

I didn’t hate it, like I’ve hated plenty of other romantic comedy anime. But this sits squarely in the enormous gulf between good and meh that I call 7/10.

All I know is A) he shoulda picked the other girl and B) it did that thing I can’t stand where a shoe gets to a point that real feelings are being expressed, then backs off on it fast. It wasn’t bad, but Aharen season 2, Witch Watch (more comedy than romance) and Summer Pockets (more romance than comedy) means it wasn’t even the best romantic comedy of the cour.

@PPeneda I've never watched the classic big 3.. my big 3 would be Monogatari Series, Kodomo no Jikan and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Plus I've only dropped 3 anime and that's Cowboy Bebop, Birdie Wing and Overlord. I might have been exaggerating about this series in particular but it's definitely one of my favorite romance comedies of the year. It's hysterical that it's the same Japanese VA playing in this and on My Friend's Little Sister has it in for Me and they're very similar. I've even heard her say BWA-HA in My Friend's Little Sister, lol.

@NeoSchizo I just think it's hysterical and I actually really like Himari. You know her VA is currently doing the troll in My Friend's Little Sister has it in for Me and they're extremely similar.

@ryzxgum I've watched nearly 10,000 episodes of anime since 2019 and probably 75% are romance comedies. I was exaggerating but this is definitely one of the funniest of the year. I'd say My Dress-Up Darling is likely my all-time favorite romance comedy.

You need to watch more animes, that’s my point. A 10/10 means masterpiece. Danjoru it’s not a masterpiece.
