This manga has been such a journey, Keyaru has really grown as a person since realizing that he truly cares for all of the girls in his harem. But Bullet is really dragging it down. He is the last remaining member of Keyaru's former party, the last one that he vowed revenge against. But I seriously do not care at all about that plotline anymore!

@dirk671 I do think Bullet works as a final revenge antagonist.

His cruelty was especially fucked up on Keyaru because he essentially groomed him into believing he was the only person that loved him, all while abusing him.

Not to mention in the light novel, he still refers to Bullet as his mentor, as much as he hates it.

Bullet is the last people he needs to take revenge on as he represents both the last existing trauma Keyaru is facing and a threat to the entire world itself.

Bullet himself is an ex-spy and his intelligence matters much more to his presence than his strength. There is going to be an interesting reveal though, we’ll see how his plan from killing himself during his fight with Proum actually works. V8 was one of my favorite LN volumes so I hope the manga adaptation does it well. There was a lot of great POV switches and fights.

By the way, if the manga is going for a full adaptation, there will be two more volumes of the LN left to cover.

Both will develop Keyaru’s character a lot.

One will be focused on world building and politics which is necessary, the other is, really, really, big. It’s going to give context to things from the very first few chapters, and shows that a lot of this series was very intentionally written for the reveal that’s coming.

So, I’d get excited because the plotline does get really good if it adapts the light novels well.
