| So far, I've always held back tears at every sad anime moment and managed not to cry. Honestly, I'm used to that in life too, even during painful surgery. I can't remember the last time I cried. The reason I don't cry is because I don't want to worry those around me. However when watching anime, it's simply because I'm embarrassed :) But my perspective changed a bit yesterday. When I was with my friend on the train, he was crying while watching Takopi. When I saw that, I thought, 'Ah, he probably enjoyed the anime more than I did.' It's so cool to be able to be honest with yourself, even in public. Unlike someone who holds back tears because of embarrassment (myself). *Ps. Too bad my friend is male. If he were female, it could have been a memorable moment. What a shame XD |

| Takes a lot for me to cry in the first place, because a lot of the moments people cite as sad don't resonate with me or I find it predictable. But when it does, I lose control and turn into the Jim Carrey version of the Grinch after he has an epiphany about the Whos and Christmas. |

| It's not easy to make me cry and it depends on the anime. Koe no Katachi didn't make me cry at all, but Re:Zero did a ton. I also never watch anime in public, so I've no problem of embarrassment. |
