I thought I was going crazy while watching this anime so I had to check the filler list and when I did I got completely SHOCKED. 5 out of 26 episodes are classified as Mixed Canon/Filler, and the rest is pure Filler. This is mind-blowing.
It's really hard to justify my time watching this anime. Is it even worth it? I enjoy the fan service but that's it. The humor is meh and there is no real story development. I'm currently at episode 11 and I'm trying my best to push through this season.
Are the next seasons as bad as this one? Is there any real plot to look for or is it nothing but ecchi stuff?

Darkness is much better overall but not sure if the filler situation improves or not.

The first season isn't that special and is just a simple and pretty plain comedy. It seems the writer just wanted to make a simple show but from the secon season onwards, this idea changed and he put a lot more attention in the characters and story as a whole and it becomes something else entirely and very entertaining.

If you can get through the first season, then you will be rewarded with an excellent show after.

Honestly you're better off reading the manga, especially for the original TLR. The anime didn't get into a good groove until halfway through the OVAs before Motto TLR aired.

More like the writer tried to make a brainless ecchi comedy without any plot, falls off after a certain amount of chapters, then tries his best to make whatever "plot" to keep the reader stay.

Don't care about it. Just avoid Darkness.
