| It's nice to see Kogoro once in a blue moon being somewhat competent. Though of course it's due to the culprit being extremely incompetent. Leaving someone with a phone was incredibly stupid. If it was on ringer instead of vibrate or silent, then the case would already have been over. |

| Ran's playing matchmaker, Kogoro is tied up somewhere and someone killed a monk. Surprised that Ran hasn't told Kazuha that she's dating Shinichi now. They have had many canon interactions with each other. The rate things are going, Kazuha and Heiji aren't getting together any time soon. Love that the monks all have iron in their name. Wonder if they have some other wordplay going on there. This week's conan hint was bucket, so I'm guessing the bucket was placed there to hide the evidence of oil on the stairs. Was suspecting the head monk but looking back he didn't place the bucket there and one of the monks could've sworn that he put it up. Was that bucket getting knocked over an accident or intentional? I guess we'll see. |

| I always forget that, in the show timeline, it has only been around a year since the story began. Ran not telling Kazuha about her and Shinichi tell now does not look too outrageous if you thought about it from that perspective. |

| THIS MARKS THE FIRST SILMULCAST EPISODE OF DETECTIVE CONAN ON CRUNCHYROLL IN GERMANY πππππ For context only the first 500ish episodes ever aired on German TV and for whatever reason it never continued beyond that. Not even when Crunchyroll got the streaming rights for Detective Conan, were any new episodes made available in Germany, despite the there being weekly new episodes on Crunchyroll in the US. However, from this episode onwards Crunchyroll is finally streaming the new episodes weekly in Germany too!! I was finally able to watch a new episode without having to use a VPN ππ And even better, this week's episode wasn't filler! π Gotta love how Ran is trying to set up Heiji and Kazuha on the perfect spot for a love confession! Ran out here being a great wingwoman π Sadly the weather didn't play along and I'm sure this case completely ruined the chances of there being a confession next episode π Oh well, at least Ran FINALLY told Kazuha that she and Shinichi are dating. (Just how long ago was that confession in London at this point in universe?! It at least hast to have been a year by now, right??). Either way, glad to be back with Heiji and Conan working on a case together so soon! π |
