| THANK YOU NANA FOR TEARING MERORON AWAY FROM PURIRUN!!! I know that's harsh to say, but Meroron really needs to hang out with more people...like Nana! I really like their dynamic. :) Aside from that and how funny it was to see everyone disappear to the Heart Garden in front of Kaito's eyes, there isn't really anything notable about this episode...at least imo. Looking forward to next week! |

| Not the best episode so far but It made me laugh and it gave me again what the No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger episode didn't give me, the Inoue™ obsession about dating. Which I don't understand where the hell it went after the great episode n. 32, replaced by another overdone Shinkenger tribute thing (what the f**k is the deal with this insane obsession for Yasuzo Kobayashi and her vomit?! just stop it once and for all). Also, 1) Meroron looks 10 times better as an human than her Cure counterpart and 2) my Love Cure Idol can date anybody she wants, at the end of the day (non-erotic, romantic fanart of Pixiv currently on my PC background where she holds my hand in love with me) is MINE and no one else's. Now to get back to the Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya Marathon I'm currently doing, dedicated to the pricks of the Internet Archive cancelling toku fansubs - A.K.A. "transmission of knowledge" - because TOEI!1!11!!, while again I await for the scrubs of Kamen Rider Zeztz for the upcoming weekend. 8 for this episode, 7 for the Gozyuger one with the Red Ranger sporting his new Saint Seiya transformation just because of the annoying Shinkenger thing. It might have been an 8 without it. |

| Ah ok, it's a self-fellating thing by the director of action of Gozyuger the continuous Shinkenger references. Boring beyond belief, like the continuous Yasuzo Kobayashi titilating like even Shotaro Ishinomori himself was second to her when he CLEARLY was not (see the garbage Trigun movie as a reference). Whatever. At least in Kimi to Idol and in this episode in particular there's nothing of that stuff, just dating dating dating a là Toshiki Inoue. Good. |

| Finally watched the dreaded amusement park date episode and I feel like this is totally being blown out of proportion. It’s so obviously one sided here, Kaito’s being nice to Uta and she has a crush on an older guy which is a totally normal thing. Nothing inappropriate. Think everyone just got PTSD from the Nozomi/Coco thing, but I never felt anything weird from Kaito towards Uta. Seems like the only thing really on his mind is helping his best friend. The character animation for Uta in that ending scene is so beautiful! Seems like this generated some controversy because Kaito agreed to see Uta again, but again, I don’t see this as him being into her romantically. Just seems like he’s being nice. Was he ever going to say “no”? Be fr. It’s just like that persona 3 scene where everyone started jumping on Makoto for saying he’d marry that girl because he was just being nice and didn’t wanna hurt her feelings. Kaito’s mind is purely on helping his friend and becoming a better idol. Now if they switch up and actually do make this a ship, I’ll gladly admit I was wrong, but I don’t think I will be. So most of the attention was on that date, but the other girls going on dates was so cute! Especially Nana and Meroron who have formed such a nice friendship lately, I wish they would’ve started this earlier in the show, but I’m enjoying it. “You being happy because I’m happy made me even happier” ahhh I love Meroron sm!! She’s so adorable. She and zukyoon human forms still got me shook. This week’s fight was decent, Uta got a little bit of karma for getting her dad sick on the teacup ride back in the day lol. I love seeing Chokkrine getting bullied as well. Really good episode, all that anxiety for what ended up being a very innocent episode lol |

| Just reporting that the last Zeztz episode is great too. 9/10 for Zeztz, 8/10 for the Cures, 7/10 for Gozyuger. Just friggin' stop putting Yasuzo Kobayashi inbetween, please. I beg you, Akiko. Either fire the action director or whatever, just stop it. You can be great without the shit of this hack inbetween, because YOU are great period. You're the daughter of the greatest tokusatsu writer in the history of tokusatsus and one of the greatest superhero writers in general (and personal inspiration of mine too), for fuck's sake. You don't need his terrible friend inbetween because reasens. Now to listen Visions over and over again. |
