| Whenever I see people who say "I rate based on enjoyment", they seem to rate based on the anime overall. But I have a different philosophy. I rate positively as long as it has the kinds of content I like somewhere in it, and as long as the rest of it isn't annoying too much, it won't affect that positive rating, even if the rest of it isn't what I look for. |

| @RaiYou Translating your response into English, your answer is "No." You rate based on whether it performs as advertised. I rate based on whether it has a unique case of unapologetic content I like somewhere in it. And if the rest of it is tolerable, the rating stays locked at the peak moment of it that I liked the most. tchitchouan said: I rate based on the amount of female nudity in the anime. I don't care if they are completely nude as long as I can see their curves clearly. I am also turned on by females who punch someone out and turned on by Boxing / MMA / Wrestling aesthetics. |

| The way that I look at it when I rate by enjoyment is what the series does to make me like it, whether its the character, plot, systems, etc. Like if there is a annoying character, the series is still good, I might dock my rating by a .5 or ignore it. It really depends on the series and what it makes me feel. |

| I can kind of relate to you on this. For me personally I don't rate an anime based off solely enjoyment, it also comes down to how good the writing and characters were too. Though it really does depend on the genre, if it's a series where it's just trying to mess around and not really tell a story. Then I'll factor that in as well. |
