 The official website of the Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria 2nd Season (Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2) television anime revealed new staff, a teaser promo, and teaser visual (pictured) on Monday. The second season adapting Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi's action fantasy manga is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. Tatsuya Yoshihara (Black Clover), the director of the first season, is now credited as the chief director. Hideaki Nakano (Servamp) is directing the second season at Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. Returning staff include character designer and chief animation director Sayaka Ono (Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu no Rondo) and music composer Yuuki Hayashi (Boku no Hero Academia). The first anime season aired in 12 episodes in Summer 2024. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages. Omori and Aoi began serializing the manga in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in December 2020. Kodansha published the 13th volume on July 9. Omori penned the Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria Grimo Acta: Hajimari no Namida (Wistoria's Wand and Sword Grimo Acta) prequel light novel in July 2024, featuring illustrations by Yuunagi.
