Was Johan really the villain? (spoilers)

He single-handedly killed all the Neo Nazis and even the Kinderheim perpetrators. Police couldn't touch them as some of them were even working for the police themselves. Tenma also never killed them. It was either Johan (and Christoff) or Grimmer.

So then, was Johan really the villain? Or an anti-hero?

I just clicked to see why someone could even think of Johan not being a villain lmao. He is a total psychopath lmao. I felt chills through the screen which i had never experienced in my life when he appeared in the scene in his adult form for the first time lol
