Fujimoto Tatsuki author will be getting adaptations based on his short stories.

It is a matter of time before all his work gets adapted (chainsaw man will fully be adapted too, even if it takes a very long time). Some people say that fire punch is unlikely bcs it is "too gruesome" but it really isnt, just average gore violence. Problem would be more like those ridiculous censorships akin to what happened with jojo's animes, but that would be secondary

It doesnt appear much, comes and goes in that volume. But i get it why it may come off as "too much" for tv producers to show in an adaptation. Most of the violent content on the rest of the manga is just gore violence like cuts, shootings, explosions and etc. The incestuous love is always there, yes, but that is par for the course and safe enough to air, even if unconventional.

Which brings up the question: Tv releases love to censor anything with blood, like with jojo and akudama drive, so if they would do the same with fire punch it would be a pretty bad thing to do. Violence animations are pretty cool and putting that much blurring or dark shades on it definitely ruins the aesthetics of it (especially if the focus is on the violence itself, like fire punch is)

All of those discussions always remind me of gantz, who will unfortunately never get the adaptation it deserves. It has huge potential, especially when the art ocasionally get so messy and an animation could improve on that majestically
