The animation does need getting used to at first, but I think it's good, even if it seems choppy at first. Also, I don't understand animation, but 30 or 60 fps sounds nonsensical. Movies have 24fps. You seem to be comparing animated movies to videogames, as others have said, which are not the same thing. A better comparison bould be other animated movies or series, and if you compare it to things like Pixar movies or Arcane, those have more fluid animation, but that's probably going to be because those are way more expensive to make, and anime studios just don't have the resources to make such animation.

I tried interpolating the frames into 60FPS and it looked much nicer! Unfortunately, there's a lot of pressure (both on a technical and social level) to adhere to traditional 2D animation principles.
