I heard about how white fox studio got brought and I was wondering if there is any ideas of how the rezero anime will be in the future. The one arc I really want to see animated is arc 7 and I was hoping s4 does well so that we have a higher chance. I also want arc 9 but that’s just asking for the impossible.

The fact it's been bought doesn't necessarily mean every on going stuffs will be stopped so it doesn't mean anything for this anime before any official announcement.

Anything related to that is very theoretical, no one knows what Kadokawa will do about it, whether they will somehow agree with AlphaPolis that white fox continue the adaptation (whether that adaptation will be of sufficient quality/time priority), whether they will transfer Re:zero to a new studio, whether that new studio will be shit or good, even if it was a good studio they probably would not give special treatment to Re:zero like white fox, whether or not they gave special treatment to Re:zero it is very unlikely that we would avoid obvious changes in adaptation.

I know you didn't ask this and I'm going off topic, but I have to mention that even though Re:zero has cut content (like almost all other light novel adaptations that exist) and some other problems Re:zero is considered to be one of the best light novel adaptations, anyone who is looking forward to a new studio is ignorant.

i don't see any reason why kadokawa would want to share the profits with some other producers when they have a lot of studio under their company, TBH Kinema Citrus would be the likely studio cause it's the best studio Kadokawa has currently under their company, Doga Kobo is good but i just think Kinema Citrus would be a better pick

It doesn't mean for season 4 that is at the end of production. It means a lot for everything after that.

In short, in a nice sounding way they said that they will prioritize their titles, and without that statement it is logical, why did they buy the studio if they will direct a good part of its resources to the project of their rival? Watch the part of the video that talks about the consequences for Re:zero. To be clear, even if Re:zero stays with the studio and continues, acceptable quality and speed of adaptation are not guaranteed, so there is a good chance that Kodakawa will move Re:zero to another studio.

I love how they did Made in Abyss, I'd like to say that I agree with you, but after what happened with the shield hero, I'm not sure, I heard that it's a constant change of director, small number of episodes or some other problems, so maybe I'm afraid for nothing. But I think it would be best for Re:zero to stay in White fox, even though it seems impossible, I don't know how much money goes to the studio, if they didn't increase the prices Kodakawa wouldn't worry about it, the problem is that the very intentions of AlphaPolis are against Re:zero.

I'm pretty sure we'll receive full adaptation and studio being owned by someone else doesn't mean much.

theres no doubt in my mind that the whole story will be animated, its too popular to just stop randomly
