This Anime was forgotten. The OSTs and the DUB/SUB are very nostalgic. I wonder whether there is a fan base behind it after all these years.

I am a Completionist.

You will be surprised how often this anime is mentioned in the go community. This anime got me into go, and I continue to play to this day)) EVERYONE in my go club watched Hikaru and Go. For every newcomer we recommend to watch Hikaru. It's just a fanbase for this particular anime, exists more in an offline world, go clubs, tournaments, and less in an online world, MAL. Cause kids who enjoyed this show already have kids of the same age...

And I just remembered. About a month ago I played with a student who got into go thanks to this anime, so this anime is still not dead even among anime watchers, which surprised me.

I still love this anime but in Germany it is literally unknown.

The Anime never released here and is not on any streaming Plattform.

The manga was released years ago and isn’t in print anymore, so it is not cheap (like 350€ for 1-23)

So if someone is not stumbling over it on a pirate site or hears about it on social media, no one will know about it.

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

EXACTLY, this is my 10 outta 10, it has such good character development, the OST and Ed are so good and nostalgic! I miss hikaru and Akira rivalry, I miss hikaru and sae's antics. I MISS THEM ALL😭😭😭😭

same for me, i give it 10 point.
what disappointed me is why the series get axed, I think the stories is not finished, if you remember touya meijin just start joining china team. dunno if it's true or not when i searched the cause why it get axed, the rumor is because the author didn't want to continue the story because get pressure by fan to return Sai and She didn't want to.
