Can't believe this episode brings back another episode memory, mini Hunters played by children in live action stage, to catch participants/players, in small areas.

But that's not how it works, no growth system.

Next episode was an inspiration from the old live action episodes, the amusement park was a sacred place for Yokai imprisonment, players removed the seal and the game starts.

Something tells me that Ritsuro might actually be Da Vinci in disguise given preview of the next episode meaning heroes were doing her dirty work without knowing it.

Also something tells me Hal kinda based daughter of the spirit of Lily because he likes her. Which to be fair Hal and Lily ship is decently popular not as high Saywer and Luna or Sigma and Micah but I think it’s in top 5 ships.

It's a shame that it was the best plot twist so far but they leaked it in the preview and now almost everyone knows it even before watching the next episode.
It's just like the time they leaked Mika as the murderer in the preview of episode 28 but the plot twist back then was predictable enough for even a kid so it's not as interesting as this one.

Guess the Sigma opening sequence can still happen but It’s probably to prevent Da Vinci from getting it.

Also Sawyer and Luna’s love confession is probably at end where they are only 2 players left or before the final fight against Da Vinci.

Looks like it's actually going to end in episode 97 this month.
Well, hopefully the remaining 3 episodes will just focus on Enigma arc and not try to do and rush Earth arc in 1 episode.

You think that’s outrageous, the Netflix episodes had old lady hunters. That just goes to show you that nothing is off limits in Tousouchuu. But you do make two good points: The child hunters were from a 2020 episode (filmed before the Covid-19 pandemic) and I think you were referring to a 2010 episode that had an amusement park as the playing field. Incidentally, the next episode of the anime and the aforementioned 2010 episode both involve yokai.

@Minimini-oh2 now I get it, what 2 weeks means, it means Episode 96 will be delay until next week. That's why I can't see any preview which usually update by every Sunday.

Yeah, I've known about the delay since the end of last year. I feel like Fuji TV's Sunday morning time slot has always had problems with live shows interrupting it like this. Part of the reason it's been holding back from reaching 100 episodes.

It looks like we have our replacement for Great Mission Run for the money and it’s GeGeGe no Kitarō so horror theme for the last arc is intentional. And someone I know suggests anime should have a ending ova but an ova on Earth would take multiple episodes.

The rerun of Kitaro is to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Kitaro's author, so I can understand why the final arc of Tousouchuu is a reference to Kitaro.

@Minimini-oh2 Finally someone get the point, and the preview for episode 96 just released, revealing a plot twist, AI Da Vinci was the exorcist all along. And they are reusing NPC models from Oda Nobunaga arc.

The person who saved Sawyer and accompanied him all this time, turns out to be the enemy Sawyer was looking for. Probably the best part of this final arc.

And preview hints Sawyer and company’s previous NPC allies are here to help stop Da Vinci. Most likely as a payoff for Sawyer always helping others.
