| A very exciting finale to this second season with the two final battles occurring at once, the first being our resident “evil” dragon versus the actual evil dragon, and the second being Vanessa and Rosetta versus the masked individual that started this whole mess. Both were quite awesome with the art and animation, and it was also nice seeing the dragon finally do something fitting of his appearance which made Reiko follow him in the first place, as well as the two sisters working together for the first time after all they’ve gone through, it really was a perfect end to this season. And although it would have been nice for the dragon to win on his own, Reiko getting the final blow was a great way to end the fight, that smile of hers was too precious right after she just destroyed an approximation of a dragon lol. And we ended on Reiko and the dragon taking off again with the sisters reunited, as well as the masked fella watching from afar, ending it like this kinda makes me feel like a third season is a possibility, but if what someone else here said about there being no more content to adapt is true, it’s pretty sad this is how the series ends, let’s hope they do something original going forward if the folks in China love it, because I sure do. And that was the second season of the funny dragon and his murderous companion anime, I’m really glad I finally checked this series out back in the summer and was just in time for the second season because boy was it a good time, I missed certain characters like Aliante and the Water Saint (she got a short bit at least) but I’m just happy to have more from this series, I really enjoyed the story this season covered with the two sisters and the real evil dragon. Yeah I think Rosetta’s change in attitude near the end was kinda rushed, but I liked seeing her be brought back to Vanessa over being led further down a dark path so I can’t complain too much there. And much like the first season, this season looked very very good with the art and animation, possibly even better, I really appreciate that a short series like this gets so much detail put into it even if it doesn’t need it all the time. We also had a great OP and ED set, I have no idea what the Japanese versions are like but the Chinese ones were so good, both songs and visuals, the OP may have been a bit too epic for this kind of show but it was still very fitting. And once again, hopefully a Season 3 could maybe still happen, I’ll definitely be there if it does, I would love more of this cool and cute little show. |

| This was enjoyable to watch. Rojeta gets away with freaking domestic terrorism!!! Wtf? She may be cute Lil sister of the king, but really? No punishment? Still decent. Won't mind if this continues eventually. |
