Behind every great farm is a great woman or something like that... =v= Arakawa-sensei's mother was no slouch but her mom? Put a bike to use as soon as it came out after the war, learned how to drive a tractor in her 60s, managed the ins and outs of owning a farm, worked hard all her life - learn from great-grandma guys! She even prepared for her passing so the funeral would go as smoothly as possible for her family. :') The story of Grandma was touching and humorous at the same time and I'm glad Arakawa-sensei was willing to share something so personal with us. |
