| Same old story. Takashi Yagi takes Oomori's story and takes it to the next level, not only with his art and great panelling, but with awesome characterization. He fleshes out the characters story so well. I must admit that I didn't care too much about Filvis as a character reading the LN. I didn't feel much sympathy for her even reading her backstory. But Yagi doubles down on her pain, her tragic circumstances and makes you feel her brutal agony and mental anguish. And he brings out the madman in Dionysius like few can. On a lighter note, it's great that he actuallly shows us Argonaut, the knights of Fialla and all those heroes of old. Love how Oratoria is not afraid to show the lore unlike the MS. And of course, more Aura content is always welcome. She's my favorite elf. |
