Mey Mey really wanted to "friendship" block Satoru's/Iroha's date.

Was very productive date Iroha and Satoru had fun. Komugi had fun. Just Daifuku enjoyed less, because stopping Mey mey.

I need to rewatch the episodes until now but, what's up with Mey Mey's obsession with Satoru using his smartphone?

Next episode, is the the episode that I wanted to happen.

Before Mey Mey met Satoru he was dealing exclusively with Iroha and Komugi who listened to very little he had to say. It was pretty much in one ear and out the other.

When Satoru showed up suddenly Mey Mey had someone who would actually listen to him and participate in conversations. He was so thrilled to have someone like Satoru that he would even call him on the phone to chat. That's why he's shown in Mey Mey's mind with his cell phone.

Mey Mey is a star , I'm glad he is finally understood the meaning of being a true best friend.

Daifuku is a Chad for sure.
I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

If you stay forever, let me hold your hand
I can fill those places in your heart no else can
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah
I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim

Satoru and Iroha first date was so cute omg 😭 it’s so fitting that they go to an aquarium with how much they both love animals. It’s really cute how this episode focused on them transitioning from being friends to an actual couple. Loved every moment of it

Yuki and Mayu teaching Komugi about fashion and taking her shopping was so cute. Yuki looked very proud of Komugi finally wearing some fancy clothes lol.

Mey Mey getting jealous about having to share Satoru with Iroha is really adorable. He used to be so annoying to me, but the last 3 episodes he’s been great. Pushed them together via the accidental confession and then today where he and the other girls did their best to prevent Satoru and Iroha having to fight. BUT, duty comes first and Satoru and Iroha love helping out the other cures anyway.

“Call me by my name” omg FINALLY they’re on full first name basis. I love love love this episode so much, absolutely adorable. Really feels like the start of a new chapter now and I can’t wait to see where we go next

@BlichoBoy Mey Mey usually calls Satoru on the phone and they talk a lot over the phone (when Mey Mey is in the Niko Garden with Niko-sama) that's why Mey Mey always sees Satoru with a phone! I think he just feels connection with Satoru through their calls as they are precious to Mey Mey!

As I predicted, this is just part 3 of the previous two episodes, making up a pointless (even by the franchise's standards) three-part filler episode, which became clear to me when they did the predictable "Komugi doesn't know what a date is joke", so I just skimmed through it like I did last week. The worst part about it (besides Mey Mey being nothing more than the comedy relief of this episode, I guess) is that there is a light canon part where the Niko Giraffe is saved during the seemingly required Pretry Cure fight; something that, I think, otherwise wouldn't have appeared at all in this episode (there being a Pretty Cure fight at all, I mean). It personally would have been more bearable (but not by much) if this was just one episode where they save the Niko Giraffe, but a three part, generic filler episode that could appear in any non-magic girl romance story? I don't think so.

Fortunately, that appears to be the end of the whole thing. Next week's episode seems to be at least a little important to the plot since it talks about who Komugi's previous owners may be (or even may not...).

Classic "Precure" twist! There's something endearing about how even amidst chaos, the show never loses its charm and positivity. The transition from friendship to romance is always delicate, and they nailed that blend of awkwardness and sweetness. And of course, a magical girl show wouldn't be complete without a heroic save, even if it involves a mischievous giraffe. What a ride!

This episode was beautiful, wonderful you may say, those two lovebirds embracing the awkwardness of the relationship changing and the girls day out with Komugi finally being a bit more feminine was just as enjoyable, Mayu was too funny at the beginning of the episode, she is the best.

Satoru and Iroha are very cute together, tough I feel they were in a hurry about making them a couple, these kind of episodes should have been near the final ones and I wonder... how many episodes are going to be about both of them? Nothing about the villains, the villains keep repeating the same actions in every episode. I know is Precure but in previous seasons there was more development with the villains... and with this I don´t mean there should be fights... I don´t know, something about the villains´s personality and more about why they are like that? Looks like they already forgot about "let´s try to talk to ookami" thing.
It feels this season is stuck in the same storyline.

You're really doing yourself a disservice by skimming it. For one thing, a vast majority of PreCure episodes don't add all that much to the plot, so complaining about filler is sort of like complaining there's liquid in your soup.

As for it being pointless, I think it's more likely the romance here just isn't for you. And that's okay, but if you look at the general consensus about the last few episodes, people *adore* this romance, myself included. We knew for a very long time how Satoru felt, but we never knew how Iroha felt because ahe never thought about it herself. It is not out of the realm of possibility that she discovered her feelings matched his upon reflection. Then, seeing that they did, we get a blossoming romance that makes us happy because two characters we care about are deepening their bond. Not only that, because it's not a romance anime there's even faster progression. We don't have a 12 episode slow-burn that *maybe* ends with a kiss, we get a 3 episode side story and they even hold hands at the end ☺️

Next week does look like it's shaping up to be much more relevant to the overarching story, but I really think you're missing out by glazing over the episodes that you have deemed unimportant.
