idk why blade of the immortal doesnt get that much rep at least in the west. cuz usually "big 3" of seinen is Vinland Saga, Berserk, and Vagabond.

welcome to the club of mugen enthusiasts.
I remember, I was reading it at the same time as vagabond, and I just had to give up on the latter to concentrate on it.
the art alone is great, the characters unforgettable and the plot is masterly handled and the fights too.
it's a shame that most seinen, even when their great, don't get the visibility and acclaim they deserve.
manji is and will always be my favourite immortal.

When I read the first words of the thread title, I thought it was going to be something bad :)))
Manga Blade of the Immortal shouldn't be classified in The Big 3 because it can't relate to the number of chapters, which are many obvious, it still doesn't compare to the others. But other than that, the manga is gorgeous and I agree with you 100%. My first anime and manga series, I really enjoyed the anime adaptation, which others didn't get or didn't like, the one I have I really enjoyed it. I'm not talking about manga anymore. I collect the serials also in the physical version, I have 7 Omnibus volumes, the other 3 (6,8,9) are quite rare and I can't find them in the country where I am. Samura knew what he was doing, the graphic style literally kills the look, I mean it's a crazy good translation of the art with the story, the characters are speechless, Manji being my favorite character of all time. I'm glad that I see posts like this, I replied a bit late, but I think it was worth seeing this, it made my day better :))))
