I do understand she does tend to have a big hate for witches and magic, talk crap about Mari but her past is the reason for her volatile and aloof attitude which is why she's like that.

And, i mean... If you got demoted for overdoing your job, stuck in a workplace with less than capable companions you would be kinda annoyed too.
It was nice seeing her going from arrogant and violent to brave and more friendly
