How is a novel containg borderline pedophilia ranked higher?

People need to seek therapy and stop reading this shit, the high score of this novel is very concerning for me considering there are moments that are borderline pedophilia.

Nobody's defending it. If they are, then yes, they need help. And it isn't like the novels promote it. They actively show Araragi being punished for what he does. He isn't supposed to be a role model in that regard.

But a simple fact is that Monogatari has the most well written and developed cast of characters in all of animanga. That's why it's so highly ranked. It's just that good.

i find it funny that you feel the need to say all this about monogatari as you hide behind your alt account, which ironically enough, has To LOVE-Ru as it’s only entry, the series in which the main character’s 12 year old blood related sister is one of the most prominent members of his harem and subject to countless explicit situations, and what’s more, have it rated as a 9. don’t get me wrong, i find To LOVE-Ru enjoyable as well, but you don’t see me shitting on other series for questionable plot points also found in a series i love

@JustSomeone15 taking another look, it seems like you added monogatari only to drop it with a 4. a 4 seems pretty high for someone who hates this series so much. honestly, as someone with such opinions as yourself, shouldn’t you be ashamed to have monogatari on your list at all?
