Any updates on this season 2?

It was confirmed by a teaser at the end of 2022. And now at the beginning of 2024 there is no info yet about it. So it is strange.

I know that obviously the production takes time but if they know it will take long then they shouldn't announce it 2 years before and just keep the fans waiting.

I feel just because a second season was announced doesn’t mean it coming soon I personally think it’s just so people get hyped so stuff like masamune revenge doesn’t happen when it was 5 years before a second season got announced

An anime is announced not to show everyone that it's coming out soon, but just to confirm that it's being worked on or just starting to be worked on. Just wait.

CloverWorks is still doing some pretty big projects to this day, they won't leave Kitagawa fans without a sequel.

By the way, AnimeJapan 2024 is coming up in March, so there might be some news.

If they dont give a release date for the announcement its generally a year or more away.

They give the dates typically 6 months out so im guessing fall or 2025

@Superstes tell that to Nanashi(nagatoro) and Sawayoshi Azuma (Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru) who literally made hentai before their big break didn't stop nagatoro to get two seasons.

As a manga reader I think that a lot of anime-only fans are going to be disappointed in the direction of this story going forward. The manga is not a rom-com. It is primarily about cosplay.

I'm getting spoilers from manga now and I'm regretting to wait for Anime becouse I usually starts reading manga after anime ends and if their next season announced I wait for it but now it's long wait and I already got major spoilers so I'm going to read Manga.
Is this right choice or I should wait for Anime becouse I prefer anime over manga

Personally i did that and the manga has really nice moments after the end of season 1. Sadly nowadays it is a bit boring as the chapters are monthly and Gojo and Marin's relationships doesn't seem to go anywhere since months ago. But i am still reading it hoping for that to change soon.

its gonna take a while. its common for teasers to come out but they dont release until 4-5 years later.
