It's been like a couple years since watching both Adventure and 02 as well as the movies. Does this latest movie give resolution to tri and Kizuna or is it just "filler"?

Not really. I'd actually say it is like a filler shounen movie, and not a good one. If you want more info, read my review, but it really just wasted the 02 cast and focused on a new oc the whole time

Art Pictures similar to Kizuna which using similar scenes evolution as original.
So it's better than Tri for art.

Plot not too good for me. Full of Hole.
Moreover when it said first Digidestinied when we know from Original and Tri, the first DigiDestinied(Choosen Children) was Daigo Maki and Friends.
At Original, it already explained by Gennai before they battle againts Apocalymon.

No Armor Digivolve, After all, normal Evolution is stronger than Armor except Gold Armor.
There are no new Evolution, well the strongest still Imperialdreamon Fighter Mode.

I feel pity about Imperialdramon(didn't got a new Evolution or Mode), it looks like a weakest Protagonist Digimon(Can't defeat Daemon(Mantle), Lose againts Alphamon, Rosemon Vikemon(Side Character).
even Imperialdramon didn't get power up, Imperialdramon still be a good vehicles at this movie.

Better than Kizuna despite the discrepancies. Kizuna was just shit imo.

Yeah It's worth it.
The story is good and it's the most faithful thing to come out for adventure and 02 storywise in recent times.
